Sampdoria pair suspended

Tommaso Augello, Lorenzo Tonelli and Sebastiano Luperto received one-match bans, while Torino were fined €3,000 for delaying kick-off.

The Disciplinary Commission confirmed the verdicts following Serie A Week 7 fixtures.

Sampdoria pair Augello – who was sent off – and Tonelli have been given one-match bans.

Crotone defender Luperto saw red against Torino and has also received an automatic one-game suspension.

Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti believes Milan ‘are still missing something’ even if Zlatan Ibrahimovic ‘is immortal, like Cristiano Ronaldo.’

Ribery and Vulic fined for diving

The Disciplinary Commission has fined Fiorentina winger Franck Ribery and Crotone midfielder Milos Vulic for diving.

The sporting judge has handed out a €2,000 fine to both Ribery and Vulic after Serie A Week 7, for ‘pretending to have been subjected to a foul in the opponent’s penalty area’.

Bologna sporting director Riccardo Bigon has been suspended for one match after the match against Napoli and the Partenopei’s athletic coach Dino Tenderino suffers the same sentence.

Lawyer: ‘Napoli are the victims’

Napoli lawyer Mattia Grassani is confident the Azzurri’s 3-0 defeat by default against Juventus will be overturned as he believes the Partenopei ‘are the victims in this history.’

Napoli were handed a 3-0 defeat and docked one point after they didn’t show up to face Juventus on October 4.

The Partenopei had two of their players who tested positive for Covid days before the game.

Napoli and Roma appeal verdicts postponed

The appeal verdicts concerning Juventus-Napoli and Verona-Roma have been postponed, reports in Italy claim.

Both the Giallorossi and the Azzurri had lodged appeal against their 3-0 defeat by default against Verona and Juventus respectively.

Roma had been penalised for irregularly fielding Amadou Diawara in the 0-0 draw with Verona, so Hellas received a 3-0 victory.
