Italian interest in Banega

Valencia have revealed that two Italian clubs are keen on Ever Banega – but Napoli are not one of them.

"There is a lot of interest in Banega," Valencia sporting director Braulio Vazquez told Radio CRC.

"Two Italian clubs have asked us for information on him, but Napoli have not been in touch. An English side have contacted us too.

"However, Valencia don't want to sell him because he is one of the most important midfielders in the world."

Donadel to Napoli today

Napoli will complete the transfer of Marco Donadel at some point on Tuesday, Sky Sport Italia claim.

The former Under-21 international will be out of contract at Fiorentina at the end of this month and he is available on a Bosman.

The 28-year-old's agent Davide Lippi will hold talks with Napoli sporting director Riccardo Bigon to finalise terms.

Donadel, formerly of Milan, Lecce, Parma and Sampdoria, will reportedly put pen to paper on a four-year deal.

Lucarelli fears Napoli axe

Cristiano Lucarelli fears that his Napoli spell has come to an end after an injury-hit campaign at the San Paolo.

The veteran attacker joined the Azzurri from Parma last summer on a loan deal with the option to buy.

However, Lucarelli snapped knee ligaments in September during his second game for the outfit and was rarely used once he returned to action in January.

"The club's silence leads me to believe that they don't want to keep me," the forward told Radio CRC.

Santana agrees Napoli move

Mario Alberto Santana has agreed “a three-year contract with Napoli,” confirmed the Fiorentina man's agent.

The midfielder was free to choose his next club, as the Viola did not renew the contract that expires this month.

“We have agreed a deal with Napoli for a three-year contract,” agent Marco Piccioli told Goal.com.

“Before making it all official, the club needs to sell Jose Sosa.”

Santana will get the opportunity to play in the Champions League at the San Paolo next season.

Amauri would love Napoli chance

Amauri says he would love to play at Napoli next season alongside Edinson Cavani and Ezequiel Lavezzi.

"It wouldn't be a bad trident at all," he told Radio Kiss Kiss. "I know Edinson from our time together at Palermo, but the real soul of Napoli is Lavezzi.

"He's a crazy player and whoever plays alongside him always scores a flurry of goals," continued the striker.

Amauri's future is unclear given that he spent the last six months on loan at Parma and has just a year left on his Juventus contract.

No €40m City offer for Hamsik

However, after rejecting links between Milan and the player, President Aurelio De Laurentiis has now quashed this latest piece of speculation.

"It's just the same old story," the Azzurri chief noted. "I have not received any offer for €40m for Hamsik."
