Aquilani courts Inter and Napoli

Liverpool-owned Alberto Aquilani wants to remain in Serie A and “there could be interest from Milan, Inter and Napoli.”

It looks as if Juventus will not take up their option to make his move permanent after spending the season in Turin on loan.

“The issue with Juventus is not definitely closed. They asked for a few days to think about it, but it's only right for me to seek other options at this point,” agent Franco Zavaglia told Sky Sport Italia.

Inler waiting for Napoli call

The agent of Gokhan Inler has invited Napoli to improve their contract offer if they want the Swiss international.

"Napoli and Udinese reached an agreement some time ago," Dino Lamberti told Premium Calcio.

"But, let's say, that the right phone call has not been made to us just yet."

Inler's move to the San Paolo seemed like a done deal, until Juventus came along and offered the midfielder some very tempting personal terms.

Poli on Napoli radar

Napoli will target Andrea Poli of Sampdoria should they fail to land Gokhan Inler from Udinese.

The San Paolo outfit have agreed a deal with the Bianconeri for Inler, but reaching a compromise with the player over personal terms is a problem.

With Juventus also in the hunt for the Switzerland international, Napoli are making alternative plans just in case they do miss out on Inler.

It was thought that they would target Angelo Palombo after Sampdoria's relegation from Serie A, but it is Poli they are more interested in.

“We know how wonderful this season has been and what we achieved, so we can't wait to get out there for next term. Playing against Barcelona would be enormously exciting,” said Cannavaro on Radio Marte.

“The club will sign important players for me to train. Hamsik? We never went after him, so it was all just newspaper talk.”
