Zeman: Don't rule out Napoli

Foggia Coach Zdenek Zeman doesn't think Napoli should be ruled out of the title race just yet.

Napoli are three points behind League leaders Milan with eight games of the season remaining.

This weekend the attention is focused on a potentially title-deciding Derby della Madonnina.

Napoli will be hoping to profit from the outcome.

"I would add Napoli into the title race with enthusiasm," Zeman said.

"Walter Mazzarri is doing very well and the results show that he is doing things right.

'No guarantee Mazzarri stays at Napoli'

Walter Mazzarri's lawyer has fuelled reports of a Juventus offer. “I cannot guarantee he'll stay at Napoli.”

Napoli target Lucas and Fernandinho

Napoli director of sport Riccardo Bigon is expressing an interest in Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva and his counterpart at Shakhtar Fernandinho.

The Partenopei have identified central midfield as a problem area and plan to address the issue once the transfer window opens again in the summer.

La Gazzetta dello Sport claim Napoli already reached an agreement with Lucas and Liverpool back in January only for the deal to fall through at the last minute.

Brocchi 'fears Napoli enthusiasm'

Cristian Brocchi prepares for Lazio's Champions League showdown with Napoli and concedes “their enthusiasm frightens us.”

The two sides are battling for a top four finish, although technically the Vesuviani are still in the Scudetto race too.

“The thing that frightens us the most is their enthusiasm. The San Paolo will be absolutely packed to the rafters,” Brocchi told Lazio Style Radio.

“They'll be eager to beat us because it would be a hugely important result for them and really break away from the chasing pack.
