Serie A Week 20 referees

The referees for Serie A Week 20 have been announced, with Gianluca Rocchi overseeing Napoli-Lazio.

Elsewhere, Piero Giacomelli is the man in the middle for Roma’s visit of Torino on Saturday and Davide Pairetto will officiate Inter’s home match against Sassuolo.

On Monday, Daniele Orsato is handed Milan’s rescheduled trip to Genoa, before Juventus and Chievo wrap up the weekend with Marco Piccinini in charge.

'Immobile couldn't turn down Napoli'

Ciro Immobile’s agent has confessed that if an offer from Napoli had ever arrived, the Lazio striker ‘would never have refused it’.

Immobile was born in Naples but has never played for his hometown club, and Mario Sommella revealed the Italy international felt very attached to his roots.

“Ciro has family and friends in Naples and is very attached to the city. He never forgot his roots,” he told Radio Marte.

Lobotka agent: No Napoli bid

Stanislav Lobotka’s agent has denied receiving an offer from Napoli for the Celta Vigo midfielder this month.

Gianluca Di Marzio reported earlier in the week that Celta had rejected Napoli’s bid of a €2m loan with an €18m option to buy for Lobotka, who had also been linked with the Partenopei last summer.

However, Branislav Jasurek told Radio Marte: “There is no official offer from Napoli.

Confirmed: Coppa QF kick-off times

The dates and times for this season’s Coppa Italia quarter-finals have been confirmed.

Milan and Napoli get the last eight under way at San Siro on Tuesday January 29, kicking off at 19:45 GMT.

The following day sees Fiorentina host Roma at 16:30 and holders Juventus travel to Atalanta at 19:45.

Finally, Lazio lock horns with Inter on January 31 - also transfer deadline day in Italy - at 20:00.

French starlet 'couldn't refuse Napoli'

Le Havre and France starlet Harold Moukoudi could not say ‘no’ to Napoli, according to his agent.

Moukoudi is the next prospect to come off the Le Havre factory line after the likes of Riyad Mahrez, Dimitri Payet and former Juventus star Paul Pogba, and Thierry Granturco made it clear the young defender was open to joining Napoli one day.

“Napoli are interested and we couldn’t say ‘no’ to them,” he told Radio CRC.

Thiago Silva is ‘rooting for Gennaro Gattuso’ in the Supercoppa because ‘I’m a Milan fan’ and would be ‘very happy’ if Paris Saint-Germain signed Allan.

Napoli make Rog demands?

Napoli are reportedly demanding Sevilla commit to a €40m option to buy in any loan deal for Marko Rog.

According to CalcioNapoli24, Napoli also want a percentage of a future resale or the right to buy back Rog.

However, the website notes Sevilla’s purchase option will be lower than €40m if they opt for one of the latter.

Bologna fans were not racist

Bologna fans have been cleared of aiming racist chants at Juventus striker Moise Kean during the Coppa Italia Round of 16.

A few jeers in the opening minutes of the game sparked controversy, with suggestions monkey noises were made when the striker touched the ball.

However, after Bologna ultras released a statement assuring these were simply boos at any Juve player who approached the goal, an investigation has backed their version of events.

Ancelotti clarifies racism stance

Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti has clarified that he wants to see games stopped temporarily and not abandoned if racist chanting is heard.

Napoli deny Rog remarks

Napoli have issued a statement denying that sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli said Marko Rog was set to join Sevilla.

Giuntoli appeared to confirm Rog’s move to Sevilla in an interview with ABC de Sevilla on Tuesday morning, but Napoli insist this is not the case.

“Napoli sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has not given any interviews to ‘ABC’,” read the statement on their official website.
