Ancelotti to meet ADL, Everton await

Carlo Ancelotti has landed in Italy to meet Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis and iron out his contract release ahead of taking the Everton job.

The former Juventus and Real Madrid coach was sacked by De Laurentiis following a 4-0 win over Racing Genk in the Champions League last week.

Ancelotti was replaced by Rino Gattuso, and has since been approached by Everton to take over after they sacked Marco Silva at the beginning of December.

Silva: 'Everton support Kean'

Everton boss Marco Silva assures Moise Kean still has "all the support" of the club after a difficult start in England.

The former Juventus striker looks to be on the road to redemption, his two goals for Italy Under-21s against Armenia midweek followed by a return to the Toffees' squad for their visit of Norwich City tomorrow.

Kean set Everton back almost €30m in August, but Silva made it clear he was not willing to give up on the 19-year-old so quickly.

'Kean not ready for Everton'

Everton boss Marco Silva claims Moise Kean will only start once ‘he shows to me in training he’s ready and that he’s better than the others.’

Kean left Juventus for Everton on the proviso he would have more first-team opportunities, with the Toffees having lacked a regular goalscorer since Romelu Lukaku in 2017.

However, the 19-year-old has so far been limited to substitute appearances and was benched for the third game running against Aston Villa on Friday evening.

Udinese: Sanchez Flores, Silva or Gracia?

Udinese are reportedly looking at Quique Sanchez Flores, Marco Silva and Javi Gracia for their next Coach.

The Friulani are ready to part company with Igor Tudor just a month into the job.

According to Gazzamercato, the Pozzo family are considering a more Iberian feel to the role for next season.

The new candidate is Quique Sanchez Flores, who already worked with the patrons at Watford in the Premier League.

He is currently out of work, having been fired by Espanyol in April.

Report: Watford line up Ventura

Watford have reportedly lined up former Italy CT Giampiero Ventura if Marco Silva leaves for Everton.

According to Tuttosport, Ventura is “the hot name” for Watford in the event Silva departs, with Everton having offered in excess of €13m to buy out the Portuguese’s contract.

The 68-year-old was sacked after his failure to lead Italy to the World Cup, but he worked under the Hornets’ owners – the Pozzo family – at Udinese during the 2001-02 campaign.

Premier League options for Ranocchia

Inter defender Andrea Ranocchia could return to England for Huddersfield or West Bromwich Albion after his Hull City spell.

The centre-back spent the last six months on loan at Hull and scored two goals with two assists in 16 Premier League appearances.

There’s no place for him at San Siro and the 29-year-old seems to have more offers from England than Italy.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the proposals on the table right now are from Huddersfield and West Bromwich Albion.

Porto make move for Sousa

Paulo Sousa has left Fiorentina and is now the hot favourite to become Coach of Porto on a two-year deal.

The contract was not renewed after two years in Florence, as the rapport with fans had soured and this season they failed to qualify for Europe.

According to Sky Sport Italia, now Sousa is considering an offer from Porto to replace Nuno Espirito Santo.

His main competition for the role, Marco Silva, ruled himself out when signing for Watford last week.

It’s believed a proposal is on the table for two years with option for a third.

Ranocchia: Swansea or Olympiacos?

Hull City won’t take up their Andrea Ranocchia option, but the Inter defender could head to Swansea, Watford or Olympiacos.

The centre-back seemed to rediscover some of his confidence in the Premier League, even scoring two goals, but Hull’s relegation means they won’t make the loan permanent.

According to Sky Sport Italia, a return to England has potential, with an offer on the table from Swansea City.

Also showing interest are Greek club Olympiacos, who already have ex-Inter midfielder Esteban Cambiasso.

Watford: Niang out, Ranocchia in?

Watford’s decision to part company with Walter Mazzarri could have a knock-on effect for M’Baye Niang and Andrea Ranocchia.

The Premier League club terminated the contract by mutual consent just one year into a three-year agreement.

According to reports in Italy, Niang is not prepared to stay on with the Hornets if Mazzarri won’t be at the helm.

Niang joined Watford in January on loan from Milan with option to buy for a rumoured €18m.

Inter resume push for Simeone

Inter’s 2-2 draw with Milan reportedly doomed Stefano Pioli to the sack this summer, as Diego Simeone becomes the number one target.

The Nerazzurri have lost all hope of a Champions League place after scraping two points from the last four rounds, including defeats to Sampdoria and relegation-threatened Crotone.

They had been leading 2-0 at half-time in the Derby della Madonnina, but Milan clawed it back to 2-2 with the last kick of the game.
