Cutrone not convinced by Wolves

Milan striker Patrick Cutrone isn’t convinced by a move to Wolves, which could reportedly have an impact on the Angel Correa deal.

The Rossoneri are keen to sign the Atletico Madrid forward, but with a €55m asking price they’ll need to sell players before they can buy.

It was reported this week that super-agent Jorge Mendes is working on moving André Silva to Monaco and Cutrone to the Premier League, as well as pushing for Correa to join Milan.

Milan mustn't cut Cutrone

Milan are entering a new era and Patrick Cutrone's qualities are just what the club needs to move forward, argues Vijay Rahaman.

Whether it's his late winner in the Coppa Italia semi-final against city rivals Inter in 2017 or his well-worked assist for strike partner Krzysztof Piatek against Udinese this term, there is no doubt that Patrick Cutrone has captured the hearts of the Milan fans.

The Como-born striker came through the Milan youth academy and since making his debut in May 2017 has risen steadily, making his Italy debut just a year later. He is yet to establish himself, but he has shown enough to justify being kept by the Rossoneri.

Milan call up Silva & Cutrone

Milan have called up strikers Andre Silva and Patrick Cutrone for the International Champions Cup.

Silva did not take part in Milan's 1-1 draw with Novara on Friday, instead following a personalised training regime, and had been linked with a move to Monaco.

Cutrone, in turn, had been tipped to join Wolverhampton Wanderers as the Rossoneri looked to raise funds for Atletico Madrid forward Angel Correa.

Milan might lower Cutrone price

Patrick Cutrone is of interest to Premier League, Bundesliga and Ligue 1 clubs, it’s reported, but nobody will match Milan’s €25m price-tag.

The 21-year-old scored nine goals in all competition last season, plus two assists, but struggled to get playing time.

According to MilanNews.it, new Coach Marco Giampaolo wants to see him in pre-season training before making a firm decision, but it seems likely Cutrone will leave.

Gilardino: 'Cutrone should leave Milan'

Alberto Gilardino believes Patrick Cutrone should “move away from Milan” in search of the game time that would help him grow.

The 21-year-old scored in the Azzurrini's 3-1 win over Belgium in the European U21 Championship last night, but has failed to lock down a staring role with his club, starting just 12 Serie A games this season.

Both Torino and Fiorentina have recently been linked with the €25m-rated youngster.
