'Bosnia want to compete with Italy'

Miralem Pjanic, Rade Krunic and Edin Dzeko will all start for Bosnia-Herzegovina against Italy as CT Robert Prosinecki wants his side to show “we can compete”.

Bosnia need to make up five points in their final two Euro 2020 qualifiers to reach the finals next summer, and Prosinecki made it clear his team would put up a fight against Italy.

“The most important thing is that everyone is healthy and ready for this match,” he said at a Press conference.

Krunic: 'Not a Milan number'

Rade Krunic assures he is ready to make a success of his Milan “dream” and explains why Stefano Pioli is a better fit than Marco Giampaolo.

The midfielder has struggled to make an impact since his arrival at San Siro but started the match against Lazio last time out, and he is now hoping to kick on against Juventus this Sunday.

“They are the best team in the League, the hardest club to play against,” the 26-year-old told Tuttosport.

Bosnia: 'Krunic should leave Milan'

Bosnia-Herzegovina CT Robert Prosinecki has urged Milan midfielder Rade Krunic to seek a loan move in January so he can play more football.

Krunic was signed from Empoli over the summer but has hardly kicked a ball for Milan, managing just 67 minutes of competitive action across two appearances.

With that in mind, Prosinecki would like to see the 26-year-old get more football under his belt.

'Confident' Krunic to stay at Milan

Milan’s Rade Krunic says Stefano Pioli has given him his “confidence” back as it is reported the midfielder is no longer Genoa-bound.

Krunic’s lack of game time under Marco Giampaolo fuelled speculation of a possible loan move to Genoa, where he would have reunited with Aurelio Andreazzoli.

However, Calciomercato.com claims he impressed Pioli during his substitute appearance against Lecce last night, although Milan could only manage a 2-2 draw.

Krunic talks for Genoa loan

Milan are reportedly in talks to loan Bosnia-Herzegovina international Rade Krunic to Genoa in January.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Rossoneri are in negotiations with Genoa to loan Krunic out in January.

The 26-year-old has been in Italy since 2015 for Verona, Empoli and now Milan.

Milan back to square one

Milan fans and even Marco Giampaolo so disheartened by defeat to Udinese that they’re going back to the drawing board, writes Kaustubh Pandey.

Milan started the season with not so much a step backwards as a stumble and accidental backflip. After their first official 90 minutes, Marco Giampaolo was already wondering aloud whether he should scrap the 4-3-1-2 system entirely and start from scratch. There was certainly little of the new-look Rossoneri on show in Udine.

A fresh start for Milan

Marco Giampaolo’s new Milan revolves around the midfield, so Steven K Moore considers the revamped Rossoneri.

Despite securing their highest Serie A finish in six years, Milan were expecting more. Anything less than a top four finish would be considered a failure, so missing out to Atalanta felt even worse.

Gennaro Gattuso is gone and Marco Giampaolo has been drafted in to create a new-look Diavolo, one in the image of its Coach. Gone is the focus on determination, grit and grinding out results, in comes an eye for quality, style and practiced passing channels.
