Serie A Team of Week 4

With Inter, Juve and Napoli all winning it’s as you were at the top of Serie A, as Dave Taylor selects his best XI from Week 4.

Samir Handanovic [Inter]

Thanks to several superb saves the 33-year-old Slovenian won the points for Inter. Outstanding on three separate occasions from Aleksandar Tonev, he also kept the visitors in the game with a fabulous finger tip save from Marcus Rohden’s dynamic header. Excellent.

Alessandro Florenzi [Roma]

De Sciglio, Sosa miss Crotone

Jose Sosa and Mattia De Sciglio will both miss Milan’s trip to Crotone, as the Week 34 suspensions are confirmed.

There were no red cards in Serie A during Week 33, but four players crossed the disciplinary threshold after one booking too many.

Rossoneri pair Sosa and De Sciglio are both banned for next weekend after their fifth bookings of the season in the defeat to Empoli.

Cristiano Biraghi of Pescara and Bologna’s Blerim Dzemaili are also sidelined for a week after a 10th booking of the campaign.

Serie A Team of Week 25

With bottom club Pescara recording their first real win of the season, Dave Taylor is delighted to select two of their players in his best XI from Week 25.

Lukasz Skorupski [Empoli]

The sturdy Pole knew he was in for a busy night from the start as Ciro Immobile severely tested him twice. He also needed to be at his acrobatic best to halt an audacious effort from Marco Parolo while another standout save from Sergej Milinkovic-Savic’s close up header saved further embarrassment. Heroic.
