Brescia won't lower Tonali price

Brescia are demanding €50m for midfielder Sandro Tonali, whereas it’s reported Juventus, Inter and Milan won’t go beyond €30m.

The 20-year-old is in his first Serie A season, but Brescia are in penultimate place and sliding inexorably towards relegation.

It therefore seems safe to say Tonali won’t be in their squad for next season in Serie B.

However, La Gazzetta dello Sport point out Brescia won’t lower the €50m asking price, whereas Juventus, Inter and Milan are prepared to offer €30m at most.

Demiral back in Juve training

Merih Demiral is back in full training with Juventus for the first time since his devastating knee injury in January.

The Turkey international defender has been working separately on an individual training schedule, but a statement from the club today confirmed he is now part of the group routines.

Demiral suffered the injury during the same match that saw Nicolò Zaniolo tear his ACL on January 12.

Zaniolo has already returned to Serie A action and scored his first goal since the injury during yesterday’s 3-0 win over Brescia.

Worst Juve to win the Scudetto

After Juventus needed two penalties just to draw last night, Livio Caferoglu explains how Atalanta mercilessly exposed the cracks in Maurizio Sarri’s side...

Thank goodness we have Atalanta. After another season where Juventus have been allowed to sleepwalk to the Scudetto, the Dea put their traditional rivals to shame last night, holding them to a 2-2 draw in Turin. Two penalties stopped Atalanta from taking all three points and, staying true to form for the Calcio community, the debate quickly escalated into whether they should’ve been given at all, but there were far more pressing matters for the Bianconeri to consider.

Cuadrado suspended against Sassuolo

Juan Cuadrado is suspended for the next Juventus match against Sassuolo, leaving the Bianconeri with a shortage of full-backs.

The Colombia international was booked during last night’s 2-2 draw with Atalanta, activating a ban for his accumulation of yellow cards.

He is the only player suspended from Saturday’s fixtures, which also included Lazio-Sassuolo and Brescia-Roma.

It leaves Juve without Cuadrado, plus injured Mattia De Sciglio, Merih Demiral and Sami Khedira, for Wednesday night's match at the Mapei Stadium.

Hottest Capocannoniere race in 60 years

The Capocannoniere race is suddenly tighter than ever, as Cristiano Ronaldo has 28 goals and Ciro Immobile 29, the most prolific battle since the 1950s.

Lazio striker Immobile had seemingly secured the title of Serie A top scorer with an astonishing run, but like his team, he too has stalled since the restart.

He had 25 goals in his first 22 games this season, but was suspended against Milan and has fired blanks in the last two fixtures as well.

It means Immobile had just two goals in his last six appearances.

Video: Atalanta dominate Juventus

Atalanta were held 2-2 by Juventus last night, but a video shows the extent of La Dea’s dominance leading up to the opening goal, keeping the ball for eight minutes.

Gian Piero Gasperini’s team had 70 per cent possession in Turin during the opening 15 minutes of the match.

For the length of eight minutes and 11 seconds leading up to Duvan Zapata’s goal, it was closer to 100 per cent.

Paratici: 'Juve talking to Dybala'

Fabio Paratici has confirmed that Juventus are locked in talks with Paulo Dybala’s agent over a new contract for the forward.

Dybala is in the final two years of his current deal and came close to being cashed in last summer as Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur both tried to sign him.

However, the 27-year-old has been one of Juve’s outstanding performers this season, making 30 goalscoring contributions in 40 appearances under Maurizio Sarri.

Highlights: Juventus 2-2 Atalanta

Juventus and Atalanta certainly did not disappoint with a four-goal thriller in Turin, as a pair of Cristiano Ronaldo penalties replied to Duvan Zapata and Ruslan Malinovskyi.

La Dea were coming off nine consecutive Serie A victories and it showed, as they dominated the first half and went in front when Duvan Zapata combined with Papu Gomez to carve the defence apart.

Sarri: 'How Juve changed the game'

Maurizio Sarri reveals how Juventus ‘changed the game’ with a different second half attitude against Atalanta, ‘one of the form teams in Europe now.’

The Bianconeri were out-played for the entire first half and went behind twice in Turin, but clawed their way back to a 2-2 draw thanks to two Cristiano Ronaldo penalties.

The result allows them to go nine points clear at the top of the table, as Lazio lost 2-1 to Sassuolo earlier today.
