Report: Ronaldo until 2022

The arrival of coach Andrea Pirlo has reportedly tied Cristiano Ronaldo even more to Juventus, as the talisman seems certain to stay until June 2022.

Tuttosport claims Pirlo has made a good impression on Ronaldo since his first day at the Allianz Stadium and that the Portuguese superstar is determined to help the former midfielder win in his initial year as a coach.

And Pirlo is preapared to allow the 35-year-old to achieve his personal goals, convincing the veteran to honour his contract expiring on June 30, 2022.

Improta hopes to score against Juventus

Benevento’s Riccardo Improta netted his first-ever Serie A goal against Fiorentina and dreams of scoring again against Juventus next week.

The ‘Streghe’ managed a 1-0 away win at Fiorentina on Cesare Prandelli’s second debut with La Viola.  

"It’s a goal that is worth a lot, especially for the moment we were living,” Improta told Otto Channel.

UCL: referees appointed for Juve and Lazio games

English referee Michael Oliver has been appointed for Lazio-Zenit in Champions League on Tuesday while the German Daniel Siebert will officiate Juve-Ferencvaros.

UEFA has announced the referees for Tuesday’s Champions League games. Lazio will host Zenit whereas Juve face Ferencvaros at the Allianz Stadium.

Andrea Pirlo blocked the sale of three Juventus players last summer, including Merih Demiral who was wanted by Leicester, according to Fabrizio Romano.

De Ligt: ‘Pirlo more modern than Sarri’

Matthijs de Ligt has said Andrea Pirlo’s playing style is ‘more modern’ than Maurizio Sarri’s and reveals what Juventus have changed this season.

De Ligt made his seasonal debut in the Old Lady’s 2-0 win against Cagliari on Saturday after a shoulder surgery he sustained in August.
