Juve-City starlet swap done

Juventus have completed their swap deal to sign Felix Correia, with Pablo Moreno heading to Manchester City in exchange.

Sky Sport Italia and Romeo Agresti both report the contracts have been signed and only official confirmation is pending.

It will be a straight swap, with both players valued at around €10m.

Correia, 19, is a right winger who plays for Portugal Under-19s and spent last season on loan at AZ.

Serie A Week 29 referees

The referees for Serie A’s Week 29 fixtures have been announced, with Davide Massa given Torino-Lazio and Genoa-Juventus going to Gianpaolo Calvarese.

Massa [pictured] has officiated 24 games in all competitions this season, dishing out 124 yellow cards and awarding 11 penalties.

Calvarese, on the other hand, has booked just 76 players and blown for four spot-kicks in his 16 matches.

Elsewhere, Inter’s visit of Brescia will be overseen by Gianluca Manganiello and Maurizio Mariani is handed Milan’s trip to bottom-placed SPAL.

Allegri no longer tied to Juve

Max Allegri is free to return to football after his Juventus contract officially expired today.

Allegri left Juve last summer, making way for Maurizio Sarri, but still had one year left on his deal with the club.

Now, the 52-year-old is no longer bound to the Bianconeri, who in turn have been relieved of his €7m salary.

That means he is free to talk to other clubs, without the need to negotiate a severance package.

Mavididi to Atalanta or Lille?

Stephy Mavididi’s Montpellier move has reportedly collapsed, so the Juventus striker could now join Atalanta or Lille.

Mavididi seemed to be on his way to Montpellier in a €5m transfer, satisfying Juve’s desire to sell him before June 30.

However, Foot Mercato writes the 22-year-old has had a change of heart and wants to leave France after his loan spell at Dijon last season.

Arthur: 'Thank you, Juve'

Barcelona midfielder Arthur Melo has thanked Juventus for their ‘great interest in me. I know I’m going to a great club.’

Arthur completed a transfer to Juve yesterday, in a deal that could rise to €82m, with Miralem Pjanic heading to Barca in exchange.

“Thank you Juventus, for your great interest in me,” wrote the Brazilian on Instagram.

Probable line-ups: Genoa-Juventus

Miralem Pjanic is expected to make way for Aaron Ramsey in Juventus’ midfield against Genoa this evening.

The match kicks off at 20:45 BST – click here for a preview.

Ramsey made a cameo appearance during Juve’s 4-0 victory over Lecce last time out.

He should come in for Pjanic, who completed a transfer to Barcelona yesterday, although he will remain on the Bianconeri’s books until the end of the season.

Report: Juventus talk with Ferran Torres

There are reports growing in Spain that Juventus are in negotiations with Valencia for 20-year-old winger Ferran Torres.

Onda Cero claim this evening that the talks are entering into a genuinely intensive stage.

His contract only runs to June 2021, so if there is no extension, he must be sold this summer.

Valencia are in the centre of a chaotic period at the moment, as this evening they officially fired coach Albert Celades after two wins in their last 13 matches.

Pirlo to take Juventus U23 job

Andrea Pirlo will return to Juventus as the coach of their Under-23 team in Serie C, according to Sky Sport Italia, replacing Fabio Pecchia.

The offer had been in the air for several months and Pirlo wanted some time to think about it.

Gianluca Di Marzio claims this evening that the former midfielder has now accepted and will be accompanied by former teammate Roberto Baronio as his assistant manager.

The Juventus U23 team play in Serie C and last week won their first piece of silverware, the Coppa Italia Serie C.

Lazio spokesman Arturo Diaconale hit back at controversy over the win at Fiorentina, insisting ‘media pressure is being created on purpose to cause us problems as we chase Juventus.’
