Tadic: 'Rocchi destroyed Ajax'

Dusan Tadic has accused Italian referee Gianluca Rocchi of “destroying” Ajax during their 4-4 Champions League draw with Chelsea on Tuesday.

Ajax were 4-1 up when Rocchi sent off Daley Blind and Joel Veltman for two bookable offences.

Chelsea responded by scoring three goals, leaving Tadic in no doubt as to who to blame for his side’s collapse.

Ajax threats for Juventus

Juventus face Ajax in the Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday, so Vilizar Yakimov takes a look at the most dangerous Dutch players.

It’s been a while since Juventus and Ajax faced each other in the latter stages of an European competition. In fact there have been just four games between the Old Lady and the Dutch club this century, as the two sides met twice in the Europa League in 2010 and had two more meetings in the Champions League group stage in 2004.

Roma observe Ajax talents

Roma scouts were reportedly at the Bernabeu to watch Ajax talents including Dusan Tadic, Donny van de Beek, David Neres and Nicolas Tagliafico.

According to Calciomercato.it, representatives for the Giallorossi were in the stands when Ajax crushed Real Madrid 4-1 to knock the holders out of the Champions League.

Among those being watched where Hakim Ziyech, who had already been very close to a summer transfer to Roma, and left-sided winger Tadic.

'Milan & Roma wanted Tadic...'

Dusan Tadic’s agent claims Milan and Roma both tried to sign the attacker before he joined Ajax last summer and that he could yet end up in Serie A.

Tadic added to his 26 goals and 15 assists for the season during Ajax’s 4-1 thrashing of Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday, just months after he left Southampton in an €11.4m deal.

“Who knows, maybe he will [play in Serie A] in the future,” Milos Malenovic said of the 30-year-old to Calciomercato.com.

Roma handed Ziyech boosts

Roma are handed a double boost for Hakim Ziyech as Ajax have signed his replacement and confirmed ‘he already has a deal elsewhere’.

The comments made by Ajax boss Erik ten Hag come after his club brought in Serbia international Dusan Tadic from Southampton.

Furthermore, Calciomercato.com claims Ziyech has agreed a five-year contract with Roma worth €2.5m a season, while the Giallorossi are ready to offer €30m plus bonuses for the Moroccan.

“I know he already has another deal elsewhere,” admitted the Coach.

Roma, Napoli and Juve tracking Tadic

Roma, Juventus, Napoli, Arsenal, Manchester City and Atletico Madrid are all in the running for Southampton winger Dusan Tadic.

The 28-year-old Serbia international could well be on the market for this summer.

According to Spanish site El Desmarque, the contenders include Roma, Napoli and Juventus from Serie A, with Atletico Madrid interested in La Liga.

The other clubs tracking his progress are in the Premier League, specifically Arsenal and Manchester City.

Juve and Napoli go for Tadic

Juventus and Napoli reportedly sent scouts to view Southampton and Serbia winger Dusan Tadic.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the two Serie A clubs had representatives in the stands for last night’s 3-1 Serbian victory away to Georgia.

Tadic was on target and provided two assists, proving pivotal in that World Cup qualifier.

The 28-year-old has already been linked with a move away from Southampton and has a €15m release clause in his contract.
