Official: Parma sign Atalanta pair

Parma have officially signed striker Andreas Cornelius and midfielder Dejan Kulusevski from Atalanta.

A statement on Parma’s website confirms Cornelius has joined on a two-year loan with an obligation to buy, while Kulusevski arrives on a season-long arrangement.

Denmark international Cornelius moved to the Dea from FC Copenhagen in the summer of 2017 for around €3.5m.

However, he struggled in Bergamo and scored just three goals for Bordeaux during a loan spell last season.

Inter have officially loaned winger Yann Karamoh to Girondins de Bordeaux, but there is no option to buy.

The 20-year-old was signed from SM Caen a year ago for €5.5m, but got very little playing time.

Karamoh had been very close to Parma and then Saint-Etienne, but opted for Bordeaux this evening.

He is the second Serie A arrival at the club today after Atalanta striker Andreas Cornelius, who is also on loan.

Official: Cornelius joins Bordeaux

Atalanta have officially sent Danish international Andreas Cornelius to Girondins de Bordeaux on loan.

The striker completed the transfer this evening, just hours before the deadline for Ligue 1 clubs to sign new players.

It’s a dry loan, so there is no option to buy at the end of the season.

Cornelius was allowed to leave Bergamo after Atalanta’s Europa League play-off exit at the hands of FC Copenhagen.

He scored seven goals with one assist in 34 competitive games for the club.

When it came down to a penalty shoot-out in Denmark, Marten De Roon, Ali Adnan, Papu Gomez (who hit the bar), Andrea Masiello and Cornelius (saved) stepped up.
