There is very much uncertainty surrounding the future of the club, as the sale to the Chinese conglomerate is still not complete, but Montella was at least able to give some broad indications.

Milan to announce new Coach

There are reports Milan will announce their Coach for next season on July 1, with Marco Giampaolo the favourite.

The Rossoneri sacked Sinisa Mihajlovic in April to make way for Cristian Brocchi, who was promoted from the Primavera youth team job.

Although President Silvio Berlusconi was adamant Brocchi would remain, it’s increasingly likely that ex-Empoli boss Giampaolo will be appointed.

He met with CEO Adriano Galliani last week and a representative from the Chinese consortium in takeover talks for Milan.
