Galliani: Didn’t sell to Elliott...

Adriano Galliani notes he and Silvio Berlusconi did not sell Milan to Elliott Management but “doesn’t understand all these tears” over San Siro.

Berlusconi slammed CEO Ivan Gazidis for his claim that Elliott stopped Milan from going into bankruptcy, and Galliani suggested he would not have sold the club to the hedge fund if it was up to him.

“I have respect for the Elliott group, even if they never bought Milan,” he told Radio Anch’io Sport.

Galliani family row over Milan chiefs

Former CEO Adriano Galliani had distanced himself from his son Gianluca’s bitter criticism of Milan directors. “I didn’t inspire those words.”

The club fired Coach Marco Giampaolo this week after just seven games to bring in Stefano Pioli.

“Directors with a salary package that is unique in world football who always dump responsibility on to Coaches and players without taking any themselves,” wrote Gianluca Galliani, a regular in the stands at San Siro for decades alongside his father.

Galliani: Wanda victim of 'machismo'

Adriano Galliani claims Wanda Nara is a victim of ‘machismo’ in football, hopes Inter and Milan can reign again and would take Max Allegri over Jose Mourinho.

Wanda has come in for heavy criticism as Icardi’s wife and agent, with many blaming her for the striker’s fall from grace at Inter.
