Roma can get Fer for free

Roma are reported to be in talks for Dutch midfielder Leroy Fer, who will be a free agent when his Swansea City contract expires this month.

According to Calciomercato.it, the Giallorossi have set their sights on the 29-year-old and are ready to offer him a new experience in Serie A.

His deal runs out on June 30, ending three years in Wales, with previous clubs Feyenoord, FC Twente, Norwich and QPR.

Fer made 27 competitive appearances for Swansea City this season, contributing one goal and six assists, and is their captain.

Agent: 'Gabbiadini future in England'

Manolo Gabbiadini has practically secured Southampton safety and his agent said “his future is still in the Premier League.”

The Italy international scored a crucial goal against Swansea City last night, dooming West Bromwich Albion to the drop and giving the Saints a massive boost.

“He wants to fight and do well, but if you’re battling against relegation, it means things haven’t worked out,” agent Silvio Pagliari told Radio CRC.

Milan target Swansea's Ki

Milan have set their sights on Swansea City midfielder Ki Sung-Yueng for next season, seeing him as an alternative to Franck Kessie.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, director Massimiliano Mirabelli has already been tracking the Korean since his loan spell at Sunderland in 2013-14.

He just turned 29 last month and his contract is due to expire at the end of this season, making him a free agent.

Ki spent most of his career in Britain, leaving FC Seoul in January 2010 for Celtic, then Swansea with a brief loan at Sunderland.

Younes snubs Swansea for Napoli

Ajax winger Amin Younes rejected a €10m move to Swansea City because he only wants to join Napoli, claim multiple sources.

It has for some time been reported that the 24-year-old has a deal in place to join Napoli in July, when his contract with Ajax expires.

According to both Sky Sport Italia and Mediaset Premium this evening, Swansea City offered €10m to Ajax in order to sign Younes now.

However, the player immediately turned it down and is determined to become part of the Napoli project.

Conte charged with misconduct

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has been charged with misconduct by the English FA after he was sent off against Swansea City.

The Italian tactician has until December 5 to respond to the charge.

He can either pay a fine of £8,000 or contest it and perhaps be given a touchline ban.

The 48-year-old was sent to the stands by referee Neil Swarbrick and he fumed at what he claimed were Swansea time-wasting tactics.

Renato Sanches to Swansea

Bayern Munich midfielder Renato Sanches is heading to Swansea City on loan, despite Milan, Juventus and Inter interest.

According to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, the Portugal international is on his way towards Wales.

Milan had been most interested in bringing in Sanches, but they wanted an option to buy or to take the player outright.

Bayern have no intention of losing him, they just want some more regular playing time to help him develop.

Sampdoria have named their squad for the pre-season friendlies with Manchester United and Swansea.

Samp v Swansea for Diamanti

Alessandro Diamanti is not just a target for Swansea City, but also Serie A side Sampdoria following Palermo’s relegation.

The 34-year-old is eager for another new adventure after the Sicilians dropped into Serie B.

Swansea call on Diamanti

Alessandro Diamanti could be heading back to the Premier League after Swansea City approached the Palermo player.

Now aged 34, the forward and free kick specialist is not prepared to drop into Serie B following Palermo’s relegation.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Swansea have already started negotiations for Diamanti.

This would be his third Premier League spell after West Ham United in 2009-10 and Watford for six months in 2015.
