Mancini: 'Mustn't stress Italy players'

Italy CT Roberto Mancini discussed Nicolò Zaniolo's position and why he won't "stress" players with extra get-togethers in the build-up to Euro 2020.

Mancini was speaking to Radio Rai ahead of Italy's two qualifying games against Bosnia-Herzegovina and Armenia, and revealed that he wasn't sure about where to play Roma's Zaniolo in Zenica this evening.

He usually plays as part of a supporting trio behind a lone striker for Roma, but Mancini seems to see Zaniolo in a midfield trio.

Mancini: 'Belotti for Bosnia'

Italy CT Roberto Mancini confirms he will start Andrea Belotti against Bosnia-Herzegovina tomorrow and that he sees Nicolo Zaniolo as a “midfielder”.

Mancini has Belotti and Ciro Immobile for striking options, and he revealed he would be going with the Torino hitman on Friday.

Zaniolo: 'Would never take Roma 10'

Nicolo Zaniolo has poured scorn over the suggestion that he would like to take over Francesco Totti's No 10 shirt at Roma.
