Brescia lose Rami, go for Rolando

Brescia are reportedly in talks with former Inter, FC Porto and Marseille defender Rolando, as Adil Rami arrives for Fenerbahce.

The Rondinelle are trying to bring in several more big names who are free agents after Mario Balotelli.

They had been linked with ex-Milan defender Rami, who was sacked by Olympique Marseille this month, but today Fenerbahce announced he was flying in for a medical.

Instead, La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Brescia have approached Portugal international Rolando, who turns 34 next week.

Laxalt salary stalls Atalanta move

Milan full-back Diego Laxalt’s negotiations for a move to Atalanta risk breaking down definitively, letting Marseille and Fenerbahce back in.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport and Corriere della Sera, the Uruguay international is available on loan with option to buy for €12m, but the move is stalled by personal terms.

He is currently earning €1.8m per season at Milan, whereas Atalanta are reported to only offer €800,000.

There is still room for a deal if the Rossoneri give Laxalt money as a bonus for leaving early.

Lorenzo Insigne wasted a golden opportunity 10 minutes in, firing straight at the goalkeeper on an Elseid Hysaj cross, while Fabian Ruiz and Radonjic skimmed the woodwork.
