Viktor Kolar, the agent of Fikayo Tomori, sent a warning to Milan following the recent interest from Bayern Munich, highlighting his client’s ‘potential to take a step forward’.

The English centre back was one of the heroes of the Rossoneri’s Scudetto winning season back in 2021-22 and he’s continued to be a core part of the squad in the Lombardy capital, even if injuries have disrupted his work this term.

Tomori missed nine consecutive Serie A matches this campaign with a hamstring injury but he’s close to reaching full fitness, having started in Milan’s 1-0 win over Empoli last weekend. He was notably absent from Gareth Southgate’s England squad for their friendlies against Brazil and Belgium.

Speaking via Calciomercato.com, Kolar discussed the future of Tomori and his current position at Milan.

“He’s loyal and doesn’t want to run away from Milan, especially because the club haven’t done very well this season.

“Milan are a very good club, but Tomori has the potential to take a step forward in the future. If he is physically fit, he’ll be a defender sought after absolutely everywhere.”

Back in the January transfer window, Bayern Munich reportedly asked after Tomori but were sent packing by Milan, who made it clear that the defender wasn’t for sale.

Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com highlighted how Tomori is on the Bavarian giants’ list ahead of the summer transfer window, but he isn’t considered a priority at this stage.

The Rossoneri are not interested in selling the 26-year-old Englishman but would be willing to entertain offers over €30m. He is contracted to the club to June 2027.
