Pochettino option for Roma job?

After links with Juventus and Inter, now it’s reported in Spanish newspaper As that Mauricio Pochettino could replace Paulo Fonseca at Roma.

The tactician is out of contract after his spell at Tottenham Hotspur and gave an interview this week in which he said he was ready to listen to offers from England, Italy or Spain.

He was mentioned when Antonio Conte argued with Inter directors, then as the hot favourite to take over after Juventus sacked Maurizio Sarri.

Roma to be reborn after Sevilla thrashing

Jim Pallotta’s era ends with a whimper against Sevilla, but at least new owner Dan Friedkin knows what he has to do at Roma, writes Owen Diana.

As one door closes for Roma, a new one opens. A marathon 2019-20 campaign came to a disappointing conclusion with a 2-0 defeat to Sevilla in Duisburg, but the club’s sale to American billionaire Dan Friedkin under 24 hours before kick-off brings hope for a brighter future. Paulo Fonseca insists he’d ‘make the same choices’ after the Europa League exit to Sevilla. ‘We have to look at reality, we lost to a team that at this moment is better.’

Reborn Roma have Sevilla in their sights

Roma have been transformed by a shift in tactics and can unleash those weapons on the Sevilla weak spots, explains Wayne Girard.
