Marega offered to Napoli

Napoli have been offered FC Porto hitman Moussa Marega, according to the club’s connected radio station.

It is no secret that the Partenopei are seeking a centre-forward, with Mauro Icardi refusing to leave Inter for anyone except Juventus.

Edin Dzeko of Roma and free agent Fernando Llorente have also been mentioned.

Now Radio Kiss Kiss claim that Napoli were ‘alerted to’ the possibility they could sign Marega.

The 28-year-old Mali international can play as a centre-forward, a support striker or on the right wing.

Benfica and Porto eye Olsen

Roma goalkeeper Robin Olsen could be heading towards Portugal, as O Jogo claims Benfica and FC Porto are interested.

The Sweden international was signed a year ago to replace Alisson Becker at a cost of €9m, but had a dismal debut Serie A season.

In the closing stages, he was dropped in favour of veteran Antonio Mirante and has now been usurped by Pau Lopez.

According to Portuguese paper O Jogo, Olsen has caught the eye of both Porto and Benfica.

Ancelotti: 'More than one Napoli buy'

Carlo Ancelotti insists Mario Rui “is not on the market” and Napoli “could purchase another two big players and not just one” this summer.

The Coach spoke to TV Luna after a 5-0 friendly win over Serie C side Feralpisalò, denying reports Mario Rui was close to FC Porto or Benfica.

“Mario Rui is not on the market and neither is Faouzi Ghoulam, as we have no intention of selling them. They are a strong pair who work well together.”

Perin statement annoyed Juve

Sky Sport Italia claim Benfica infuriated Juventus with their statement on Mattia Perin’s failed medical, so FC Porto are ready to step in.

The rumours were circulating that the goalkeeper’s medical tests flagged up some issues, but negotiations were seemingly continuing behind the scenes.

The idea was and remains to make this a loan with obligation to buy once Perin has made several competitive appearances for Benfica.

Perin edges closer to Benfica

Juventus goalkeeper Mattia Perin is increasingly close to a Benfica move for approximately €15m, claim Sky Sport Italia.

The shot-stopper is still only 26 and had hoped to climb the ranks at Juve following his €12m transfer last summer.

However, with only nine competitive appearances last season and Gigi Buffon returning as understudy to Wojciech Szczesny, it’s evident the former Genoa man has to leave.

Marcano seals return to Porto

Roma defender Ivan Marcano left the training camp so he could finalise a return to FC Porto, claim reports in Italy.

The 32-year-old centre-back was not present at Trigoria today for the first training session of the pre-season.

According to LaRoma24.it, this is because he is back in Portugal where he is ready to sign for his old club FC Porto.

It’s a return to the side where he spent four years until leaving last summer as a free agent.

Marcano made only 13 competitive appearances in a Giallorossi jersey, scoring one goal.

Brahimi offers himself to Roma

Yacine Brahimi has offered his services to Roma, claim reports, after his contract with FC Porto expired.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Brahimi remembered that the Giallorossi had been interested in him over the last couple of years, but never made much progress in talks.

He is now a free agent, as the deal with Porto ran out and he has not yet found a new club.

Roma could potentially be interested, as he is without a transfer fee, but the salary will have to be low too.

Buffon agent: 'Juventus is an idea'

Gianluigi Buffon’s agent admits there are negotiations for a return to Juventus, although he adds “for now it’s just an idea.”

The news exploded on Tuesday night that Buffon was planning not just a comeback to Serie A and to Italy, but to Juve only one year after leaving for his Paris Saint-Germain adventure.

Buffon confirms Porto offer

Gianluigi Buffon has received an offer from FC Porto, confirmed his agent, but the goalkeeper “will make a decision in around 10 days.”

The shot-stopper is a free agent after turning down a contract extension with Paris Saint-Germain and has hinted he’s looking for a return to Italy.

However, so far the most credible proposal has been from the Portuguese champions, who’d bring him in to replace Iker Casillas.

Porto or Atalanta for Buffon

FC Porto and Atalanta are the most likely options for Gianluigi Buffon, as both are in the Champions League, note Sky Sport Italia.

The goalkeeper is already 41 years old and rejected a new contract with Paris Saint-Germain, as he wants to play more regularly.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the favourites are Porto, as he would replace good friend and fellow veteran Iker Casillas following the Spaniard’s heart attack.
