Lautaro: 'Inter are my home'

Lautaro Martinez has assured that he is “happy” at Inter and revealed how his “uncomfortable childhood” made him more “humble”.

Barca all-in for Lautaro Martinez

Spanish daily AS report that Barcelona directors were so impressed with Inter striker Lautaro Martinez’s performance last night that they are ready to activate his €111m buyout clause.

Martinez failed to score against the Blaugrana, but was a constant thorn in their side as Inter battled to remain in the Champions League, but did score in the first game between the pair in October.

He provided the assist for Romelu Lukaku's temporary equaliser at San Siro.

It could've been different for Inter

Ultimately, Inter put themselves in a far more complicated Champions League situation than they needed to, writes Giancarlo Rinaldi.

So, despite his team sitting top of Serie A, it will have caused him major discomfort to go tumbling out of the Champions League. On a night when the Nerazzurri had to be perfect, they were far from it.
