Conte: 'Happiest with clean sheet'

Antonio Conte was “happiest with the clean sheet” as Inter won 3-0 away to Torino, but hopes Nicolò Barella’s knee injury is not serious.

This was the Nerazzurri’s seventh consecutive away victory in Serie A, setting a new club record.

“The thing that makes me happiest is the clean sheet,” the coach told DAZN.

Conte 'very happy' with Lukaku

Inter coach Antonio Conte insists he is “very happy” with Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez as he prepares to face an old foe in Torino’s Walter Mazzarri.

The former Manchester United hitman has been scoring regularly in Serie A this season but has struggled to perform in Europe.

Nonetheless, Conte underlined he was pleased with his contribution so far, as he was with Martinez.

Moratti: 'Happy for Mourinho, but...'

Massimo Moratti is “very happy” for Jose Mourinho’s new role at Tottenham, but “it’s everyone’s dream to see him back at Inter.”

The Special One took the job after Mauricio Pochettino was sacked, receiving the formal announcement this morning.

“I am very happy for him and I’m also pleased for Tottenham, who made a good choice, even if Pochettino was a fine coach,” former Inter President Moratti told Tuttomercatoweb.

Abidal: 'Barca tracking Lautaro'

Barcelona director Eric Abidal confirms they are tracking Inter striker Lautaro Martinez. "He is a complete player and we know of his quality."

The Argentine scored against Barcelona earlier in the season in the Champions League, and this seems to have caught the eye of the Blaugrana.

The Spanish champions are searching for a striker to replace Luis Suarez, who will be 33 years old by the end of the season, and Martinez is thought to be amongst the top names to replace him.

'Dortmund wanted it more than Inter'

Borussia Dortmund boss Lucien Favre believes his team’s desire to “win at all costs” inspired their comeback in the 3-2 win against Inter.

A brace from full-back Achraf Hakimi either side of a Julian Brandt goal instigated the 3-2 Dortmund victory at Signal Iduna Park, and Favre was full of praise after a classic night of Champions League football.

“He is very offensive, he is always attacking despite being a full-back,” the coach said of Hakimi after the game.

A tale of two Inters

It was the best of Inters. It was the worst of Inters. Giancarlo Rinaldi saw all sides of the Nerazzurri in their 3-2 defeat at Borussia Dortmund.

If it turns out to have been what many thought it could be before kick-off - a qualification play-off - then what a game it was. For 45 minutes, we purred about an almost perfect Inter that showed it knew how to suffer while being beautifully clinical when chances came. And, when it all unraveled in the face of an unrelenting yellow-and-black tide, it felt like an object lesson in how far the Nerazzurri have come - but also how far they still have to go.

Lautaro: 'This cannot happen'

Lautaro Martinez was visibly upset after a 3-2 defeat to Borussia Dortmund. “Inter were a completely different team after the break. This cannot happen.”

The Argentine is the first Inter player to score in three consecutive Champions League games since Samuel Eto’o reached four in 2010.

He had opened the scoring, followed by a Matias Vecino goal, but the 2-0 lead at half-time made little difference.

Sabatini: 'Risible Inter penalty'

Bologna director Walter Sabatini accused Lautaro Martinez of diving to win the penalty for Inter’s 2-1 victory. “It was a risible decision.”

The Rossoblu had taken the lead through Roberto Soriano’s deflected strike, but Romelu Lukaku equalised from close range and won it for Inter in stoppages from the spot.

“Unfortunately, Bologna lost a game that we did not deserve to lose and we couldn’t lose,” Sabatini told Sky Sport Italia.
