Milan are hoping to cash in at least €40m from three loanees who have done well at their new clubs, reports detail.

The Rossoneri are gearing up for an important summer transfer window, keen to make the right investments as they look to close the gap to rivals Inter. Stefano Pioli’s side sit 14 points behind the Nerazzurri with nine league matches left to play.

A few key arrivals are expected in the summer, starting with a new number nine to lead the Milan line as well as some cover in midfield and defence. Much also depends on what happens with the stars like Rafael Leao, Mike Maignan and Theo Hernandez.

Page eight of today’s Gazzetta dello Sport details how Milan are hoping to bring in at least €40m from the sale of three players who have impressed out on loan this season – Charles De Ketelaere at Atalanta, Alexis Saelemaekers at Bologna and Daniel Maldini at Monza.

The most lucrative deal of the three is De Ketelaere, whose sale to La Dea will bring in €22m plus €4m in add-ons, as well as a future resale clause. Bologna can pick up Saelemaekers for around €9m and the sale of Maldini to Monza could secure at least €5m, if not a little more.
