Man Utd join Lozano chase

Manchester United have joined Everton, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur in the race for Napoli forward Hirving ‘Chucky’ Lozano.

The Mexico international cost almost €40m to sign from PSV Eindhoven last year and his price-tag will be in that region again this summer.

He failed to make much of an impact at the Stadio San Paolo and does not fit well into new coach Gennaro Gattuso’s tactics.

Everton had been considered the favourites, as Carlo Ancelotti was in charge of Napoli when Lozano was purchased.

Roma ready to make space for Kean?

Roma are reportedly engaging Mino Raiola to find a new employer for Justin Kluivert and help bring Everton forward Moise Kean back to Italy.

La Gazzetta dello Sport claims the Giallorossi are ready to part with both Kluivert and Cengiz Under this summer and will put Raiola on the case.

The report points out that the agent will also be applied to help Roma bring former Juventus starlet Kean, who has struggled to settle at Everton in the Premier League, back to Serie A.

Report: Napoli snatch Gabriel agreement

Napoli have reportedly agreed terms with Lille defender Gabriel Magalhaes, beating Everton, Arsenal, Chelsea and Leicester City.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, although Gabriel performed some medical tests with the Toffees a few weeks ago, the contract was never deposited and the transfer remains incomplete.

That gave Napoli a chance to step in and snatch a player who had been a firm target for their old coach Carlo Ancelotti, who is now at Everton.

Make or break for Moise

After Moise Kean foolishly threw a coronavirus lockdown party, Livio Caferoglu is worried Italy could be losing another promising talent.

How Graeme Souness must be feeling. The former Torino midfielder, in his role as a pundit for Sky Sports, had already passed judgment for Moise Kean just four goalless games into his Everton career with a scathing critique of the striker’s character. His argument was why Juventus had opted to cash in on a player supposedly with the world at his feet.

Everton to fine Kean for lockdown party

Everton are expected to fine Moise Kean two weeks of wages - £160,000 – after he hosted a lockdown party in the midst of a coronavirus pandemic.

The Italy international posted the video of his antics to a private Snapchat group, which was then leaked to the media.

It reportedly included ‘female guests giving lap dances’ at his Cheshire apartment.

According to The Star newspaper, Everton will come down hard on Kean and fine him two weeks of wages, which in his case would be around £160,000.

Everton 'appalled' at Kean lockdown party

Everton are “appalled” at Moise Kean hosting a coronavirus lockdown party and “made it clear that such actions are completely unacceptable.”

The 20-year-old Italy international posted video of the house party at his Cheshire flat on a private Snapchat group, with The Mirror newspaper claiming it showed ‘female guests giving lap dances and other suggestive acts.’

Kean had already been heavily linked with a move back to Serie A for Roma, Napoli or Inter, after leaving Juventus in a deal worth £24m only last summer.

Kaka and Menez: 'What makes Ancelotti great'

Ricky Kaka and Jeremy Menez explain why Carlo Ancelotti is so special at man-management. “He would attend barbecues with us and start singing.”

Currently at Everton, Ancelotti spent most of his coaching career at Milan, going on to PSG, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Napoli.

“I always say he is the coach who helped me to win the most in my career and he’s the best I ever worked with in terms of that sensibility and knowing how to talk to people,” Kaka told the official Milan website.

Everton in Allan and Lozano double deal

Napoli are hoping Everton will do a package deal for both Allan and Hirving Lozano, claim France Football, which could cost in the region of €70-80m.

Carlo Ancelotti’s interest in the two Napoli players is no secret, while the Partenopei are not particularly eager to keep either of them after a disappointing season.

According to France Football, President Aurelio De Laurentiis is hoping to replenish the club coffers with a double deal, palming both Lozano and Allan over to Everton.

Kean the key for Under to Everton

Roma could use Cengiz Under as part of an exchange deal for Everton striker Moise Kean, but Sevilla, Milan and Napoli are also interested in the €30m-rated forward.

According to Calciomercato.com, the Giallorossi have inevitably lowered the original €40m asking price they had touted only a couple of months ago, as the coronavirus crisis has affected transfer fees.

The key could therefore be to include the Turkey international in exchange deals with other players.

Report: Everton prepare to offload Kean

Everton are reportedly prepared to enter discussions with Inter regarding Moise Kean, who seems set for a return to Italy.

The youngster moved from Juventus to Everton last summer but has struggled to settle in the Premier League and despite the arrival of coach Carlo Ancelotti, he seems set for a return to Serie A in the upcoming transfer window.

Ancelotti has targeted LOSC Lille centre-back Gabriel Megalhaes and the sale of Kean, who is tied to the Toffees until June 2024, could be of use to help fund a move for the Brazilian defender.
