Ancelotti: 'More fun in England'

Carlo Ancelotti has claimed that England is ‘more enjoyable’ and has ‘less pressure’ than Italy and that leaving Milan for Chelsea ‘was not difficult’.

Ancelotti ended almost a decade away from the Premier League in December 2019 when he was named Everton’s coach, a month after his messy divorce from Napoli.

“It is more enjoyable [managing in the Premier League], definitely,” he told Sky Sports.

“There is less pressure here from the supporters and the atmosphere is better in England.

Napoli in talks with Everton

Napoli have allegedly been granted permission to talk to Everton by Gremio and a move for the Brazilian 24-year-old seems more and more likely.

The two clubs are yet to open concrete negotiations, but the South American club has been reluctant to let the player leave for less than €25m.

The Partenopei patron Aurelio De Laurentiis wants, according to Il Corriere dello Sport, to discuss the price tag with the Brazilian side.

Napoli favourites for Gabriel

Napoli are favourites to sign Lille defender Gabriel Mahalhaes, as France Football claim they have the upper hand over Everton thanks to Gennaro Gattuso.

According to the French publication, coach Gattuso personally called Gabriel and presented his case in ‘passionate’ fashion.

This impressed the 22-year-old centre-back, who is seen as a potential heir to Kalidou Koulibaly.

Everton are also strong contenders for his signature, but the Brazilian does seem to be leaning more towards the Stadio San Paolo.

Arsenal and Everton talks for Rabiot

Arsenal and Everton are in negotiations with Juventus for want-away midfielder Adrien Rabiot, claim reports in France, with Manchester United also interested.

The former Paris Saint-Germain talent arrived as a free agent last summer, but has made very little significant impact on Maurizio Sarri’s squad.

His delay in returning to Turin after the lockdown also irritated the club, who put him on the market with the hopes of creating a strong profit from his sale for around €15-20m.

Father: 'Napoli project for Everton'

Napoli have ‘presented a project’ to Everton Soares, confirmed the Gremio star’s father, amid reports of a €25m offer. ‘The official bid will be next week.’

The 24-year-old attacking wide man has a huge release clause, believed to be €120m, but Gremio have already suggested they are open to negotiation.

What we do know thanks to Carlos Alberto Soares speaking to Gaucha ZH is that Napoli have contacted the player directly.

Roma working on Kean deal

Roma are working to bring in Moise Kean from Everton, on a loan deal with option to buy for €20-22m.

According to Calciomercato.com, agent Mino Raiola is personally brokering the transfer between the two clubs.

Kean only recently turned 20, but has struggled to make an impact after his €27.5m plus bonuses transfer from Juventus to the Toffees last summer.

He is eager for a return to Serie A and Roma are the favourites, in part due to his strong friendship with Nicolò Zaniolo.

Gremio: 'No offers for Everton'

Gremio President Romildo Bolzan Jr insists they ‘have not received any formal offer’ for winger Everton, despite reports of a €25m Napoli bid.

The Partenopei are not the only side interested in signing Everton Sousa Soares, as he is also a target for Carlo Ancelotti’s Premier League side Everton.

The 24-year-old has a €60m release clause in his contract, but could be allowed to leave for far less over the summer.

Fiorentina looking at Belotti

Fiorentina are targeting Torino centre-forward Andrea Belotti, according to reports, as Il Gallo is unhappy with the lack of ambition in Turin.

The 26-year-old has a €100m release clause in his contract that is valid only for clubs outside of Italy, but nobody has ever come close to activating it.

His deal is due to expire in June 2022 and the lack of progress at Torino has frustrated the Italy international.

La Nazione newspaper claims Belotti wants to join a more ambitious club and Fiorentina are more than happy to welcome him into their squad.

Report: Rabiot wants Everton

L’Equipe claims Juventus are determined to shift Adrien Rabiot, but the midfielder’s reported desire to join Everton is proving a problem.

According to the newspaper, Juve have wanted to sell Rabiot since his ‘poor performance’ during the 1-0 defeat to Olympique Lyonnais in the Champions League on February 26.

The 25-year-old returned to base later than his teammates barring Gonzalo Higuain, who was looking after his sick mother, but this is not considered a punishable offence.
