Ismaily asking price scares Roma

Shakhtar Donetsk full-back Ismaily has started following Roma on social media, but the Giallorossi are scared off by the €20m asking price.

With Paulo Fonseca now officially the new Coach at the Stadio Olimpico, it’s expected some players will follow him from Shakhtar.

The favourite is Ismaily, a 29-year-old Brazilian left-back who contributed two goals and 12 assists in 39 competitive games this season.

The player dropped a hint that he was interested in the transfer, as he started following Roma in Instagram.

Roma have reportedly agreed a deal for Shakhtar Donetsk boss Paulo Fonseca to become their new Coach.

The Coach, for his part, would have accepted a reduced salary of €2m to aid negotiations with the Lupi.

Sky Sport Italia and Il Messaggero have since picked up the story, both writing that the Portuguese will be in the capital on Monday.

Juventus in for Ismaily

Juventus are reportedly looking at Shakhtar Donetsk’s Ismaily to replace Alex Sandro this summer.

The Bianconeri are in need of left-back reinforcements, as Kwadwo Asamoah will leave on a free transfer and Alex Sandro could be sold.

Leonardo Spinazzola will return from his loan at Atalanta, but he’s been forced to have surgery on a meniscus injury.

That could keep him out for up to six months, and Premium Sport is reporting that Juve are considering a move from Ismaily.
