Maurizio Sarri explained Juventus will work on both the 4-3-3 and 4-3-1-2 formations after fighting back to beat Brescia 2-1, especially after Danilo’s injury.

Alfredo Donnarumma had bent back Wojciech Szczesny’s gloves after just four minutes to put the Rondinelle in front, but a Chancellor own goal and Miralem Pjanic volley after a free kick turned the game around.

Juve pair in FIFPro World 11

Juventus pair Cristiano Ronaldo and Matthijs de Ligt have been named in the 2019 FIFA FIFPro World 11.

Casarin: 'Handball rule unreasonable'

Former referee Paolo Casarin blasted the new handball rules and increased use of VAR. “Reason is dying in football and the referee is being delegitimised, but we must stop play for racist abuse.”

The changes to the handball interpretation has to all intents and purposes ruled out the difference between a voluntary block and involuntary ricochet.

“I saw the penalty they gave against Matthijs de Ligt,” Casarin wrote in the Corriere dello Sport, referring to the Euro 2020 qualifier between the Netherlands and Germany.
