'Ancelotti gave Hamsik ultimatum'

Napoli’s lawyer admits Marek Hamsik’s proposed exit is ‘still uncertain’ as Carlo Ancelotti told Dalian Yifang ‘do as De Laurentiis says or don’t do anything at all.’

Hamsik’s move to Dalian seemed to be back on, with a deal scheduled for completion before Wednesday, but Mattia Grassani reiterated an agreement would only be found on Napoli’s terms.

Napoli 'confident' of Koulibaly reprieve

Napoli say they are ‘confident’ Kalidou Koulibaly will have his two-match ban lifted after his court appearance on Friday.

Koulibaly was subjected to monkey chants during Napoli’s 1-0 defeat to Inter on Boxing Day yet came away with a two-match ban after he protested a second bookable offence.

The defender appealed the suspension at a court hearing with Napoli lawyer Mattia Grassani, who told ANSA: “We await the verdict, we’re confident.”

Koulibaly 'to appear in court'

Napoli’s lawyer says Kalidou Koulibaly will appear in court for his ban appeal ‘to make people understand’ how it felt to be targeted by racist abuse.

Koulibaly was subjected to monkey chants during Napoli’s 1-0 defeat to Inter on Boxing Day yet came away with a two-match ban after he protested a second bookable offence.

“This is a story out of the ordinary. That’s why Koulibaly will also be there before the judge,” Mattia Grassani told Radio Marte.

‘Napoli can ask €150m for Sarri!’

Napoli lawyer Mattia Grassani has warned Chelsea that as it stands, the Partenopei ‘could demand €150m’ to free the Coach from his contract.

Sarri remains contracted to Napoli, despite the southerners replacing him with Carlo Ancelotti, while matters have been made more difficult by Chelsea’s decision not to pay his €8m release clause before May 31.

“Sarri doesn’t need to be informed of his sacking,” he told CalcioNapoli24.
