Milan to continue on same terms with Gigio?

Milan have reportedly offered Italy international Gianluigi Donnarumma an extension of his current deal worth €6m a year.

The goalkeeper’s contract with the Diavolo expires in June 2021 and CEO Ivan Gazidis has opened his cheque book to make sure the talented shot stopper doesn’t leave either this year or on a free transfer the next summer.

La Gazzetta dello Sport claims the Rossoneri have offered him a new €6m a year after having sat down early with agent Mino Raiola to discuss the future of the starlet.

Report: Rangnick agrees with Milan

Milan have, according to Tuttosport, reached an agreement with former Schalke 04 and RB Leipzig coach Ralf Rangnick.

The Red Bull director has been linked with the Rossoneri and CEO Ivan Gazidis have not hidden the fact that he would like to bring the former RB Leipzig coach to San Siro.

The initial contact with the German manager was the instigator of the controversy leading to Zvonimir Boban’s farewell earlier this year and reports have suggested that technical director Paolo Maldini could have to step back too.

Report: Zlatan pushing for contract talks

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been pushing to discuss his contract with Milan, who are reportedly asking for more time.

After the heated discussion between Zlatan Ibrahimovic and CEO Ivan Gazidis, Il Corriere dello Sport claims that one of the reasons could be the tense situation regarding the Swede’s future in Milan.

The manager wants to postpone the conversations until the end of the season, when the Rossoneri will have a clearer view of the club’s future.

Milan can't help self-destructing

Negativity never seems to be too far away from Milan and the build-up to their Coppa Italia semi-final with Juventus is no different, writes Vijay Rahaman.

Calcio is back, as after three months of lockdown, we pick up from the Coppa Italia semi-final. The first leg all the way back in February ended 1-1 at San Siro, but Milan have a mountain to climb if they are to get the result they need without suspended Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Theo Hernandez and Samu Castillejo.

Zlatan: 'Not the Milan it used to be'

Milan forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic allegedly questioned the work of CEO Ivan Gazidis, who arrived at Milanello to announce the club’s intentions of cutting wages.

The club has reportedly decided to go through with Gazidis’ plan to reduce the salaries and work on the rebirth of the Diavolo.

Milan have simultaneously accepted the request made by the players five days ago, which means they receive 50 per cent of their salary for the month of April and the rest of the months will be paid in full.

Ivan the Terrible strikes again

Ralf Rangnick may well be the right man for Milan, but Livio Caferoglu writes Ivan Gazidis has gone in completely the wrong way about hiring him.

Not even a global health emergency could mellow the madness at Milan. Only last summer, Elliott Management backed Zvonimir Boban and Paolo Maldini to return the club to greatness. Less than 12 months on and the pair are about to be consigned to the Rossoneri’s history books for the second time. Instead, a man with no official connections to the red half of San Siro has been allowed to call the shots, seemingly without informing his colleagues at the club.
