Napoli have reportedly submitted an offer to Feyenoord for David Hancko as Unai Emery’s Aston Villa continue targeting Giovanni Di Lorenzo.

Partenopei president Aurelio De Laurentiis has been left furious with the club’s major downturn this season and is planning to revolutionise the squad in the summer, working closely with Giovanni Manna, who is ready to leave Juventus to become the new sporting director in the Campania capital.

Earlier this month, Il Mattino reported that Manchester United and Aston Villa were interested in making a move for Di Lorenzo in the summer. The Napoli captain is open to a move away, frustrated with the direction of things following their Scudetto success.

Napoli offer for Hancko

As reported by Il Mattino via TMW, Napoli have submitted a €20m offer to Feyenoord for Hancko, keen to snap up the tactically flexible defender as part of their squad rejuvenation project. The Eredivisie outfit are hoping to secure around €30m for the 26-year-old.

In the meantime, Aston Villa are still interested in signing Di Lorenzo and may return in the summer for the Italian right back.
