Juric: 'So proud of Verona and Amrabat'

Ivan Juric was ‘moved’ by Verona’s 2-2 draw with Inter, praised ‘surprise of my career’ Sofyan Amrabat and hinted his future could well be abroad.

Hellas had taken the lead within two minutes with Darko Lazovic and wasted several chances to extend that advantage, but then went 2-1 down through two Antonio Candreva efforts.

Miguel Veloso snatched a point five minutes from time at the Stadio Bentegodi.

Malago wants fans back 'as soon as possible'

CONI President Giovanni Malago claims the low TV ratings in Italy are due to the lack of people in the stands and hopes to see fans in the stadium before the season is over.

Serie A has been carried out behind closed doors since the resumption and Malago thinks it has affected the viewer numbers.

He spoke at the Educamp presentation and his words were picked up by TMW: “For months they have thought us to respect the indications of the Technical and Scientific Commission (CTS).

Nainggolan considers Fiorentina move?

Inter loanee Radja Nainggolan has been linked with Fiorentina and the Belgian midfielder has reportedly showed interest in the project in Florence.

Viola patron Rocco Commisso allegedly tried to get Nainggolan last summer, but the former Roma man decided to move back to Cagliari, where he will continue until the end of the current season.

The Sardinians will reportedly do everything they can to keep the influential midfielder but despite having agreed on the transfer fee, the 32-year-old’s wages seem to be the main issue for the Casteddu.

Iachini: 'Fiorentina not clinical enough'

Beppe Iachini rued Fiorentina’s lack of clinical edge against Cagliari, defended taking off Federico Chiesa and backed Christian Kouame to give ‘a big hand’.

Fiorentina failed to build on their win at Parma as they were held to a goalless draw by Cagliari last night.

However, it was not through a lack of trying as Iachini’s side hit the woodwork and had 16 attempts on goal.

Highlights: Fiorentina 0-0 Cagliari

There was no shortage of scoring opportunities at the Stadio Franchi, but between poor finishing, excellent goalkeeping and the woodwork, Fiorentina and Cagliari couldn’t find the net.

Franck Ribery did his best to inspire the Viola to a second consecutive victory, but Federico Chiesa was having an off day and Alessio Cragno denied Christian Kouame a goal on his debut.

Bartlomiej Dragowski was forced into some heroics to keep out the Sardinians, particularly on Nahitan Nandez.
