Magpies and Hammers look at Dalbert

Inter left-back Henrique Dalbert is of interest to Premier League sides Newcastle United and West Ham United.

He spent last season on loan at Fiorentina, but was purchased from OGC Nice for €21m plus bonuses in 2017.

According to FCInterNews.it, the 27-year-old Brazilian could be heading for England, with an approach from two Premier League clubs.

Newcastle United are already targeting Sassuolo full-back Rogerio for €14m, so would only go for Dalbert as an alternative to that deal.

Benevento: 'Bonaventura chose Fiorentina'

Benevento President Oreste Vigorito discusses their active transfer strategy, but admits Giacomo Bonaventura ‘chose Fiorentina for reasons other than money.’

The newly-promoted club are celebrating the 91st anniversary of their foundation today and mark the occasion by going into only their second ever Serie A season.

“What we learned from last time is that Serie A is not something we are participating in, we have to be ready to take the initiative,” Vigorito told RAI Radio.

Napoli keep an eye on Chiesa

Napoli could make a late summer bid for Fiorentina winger Federico Chiesa once they sell Kalidou Koulibaly and Arkadiusz Milik, it’s suggested.

The Italy international was hot property on the transfer market and has been told he can leave for the right price, believed to be around €60m.

However, his recent form and the financial effects of the pandemic have seen the offers whittle down to practically nothing.
