Romelu Lukaku suffered a muscle injury in the first half of RomaMilan and had to be replaced by Tammy Abraham.

Belgium international Lukaku suffered a suspected flexor injury during the first half of Milan’s home Europa League game against Milan at the Stadio Olimpico on Wednesday and was subbed off at minute 29.

Rai Sport reports Lukaku had a problem in the flexor of his right thigh. The Chelsea loanee probably sustained the injury in the build-up to Roma’s second goal, scored by Paulo Dybala.

He was replaced by England international Abraham, who made his third appearance this season.

Roma lead 2-0 at minute 38, 3-0 on aggregate, but their defender Zeki Celik received a straight red card at minute 31 for a foul on Rafael Leao.

Lukaku, 30, has scored 18 goals in 41 appearances across all competitions this season.
