Dalbert: 'I'll celebrate against Inter'

Dalbert has confirmed that he will “absolutely” celebrate a goal against Inter with Fiorentina, who are “the best choice I could’ve made.”

The left-back arrived on loan from Inter in August and faces his parent club in Serie A this weekend.

Fiorentina need the points and Dalbert states he wouldn’t hesitate to celebrate if he scores against his former teammates.

“Absolutely,” he told the Corriere dello Sport.

Infantino: 'Racism issue not improving'

FIFA President Gianni Infantino warned after another incident that “the racism problem is not improving in Italy,” but Gian Piero Gasperini disagrees.

Play was halted for three minutes during Atalanta’s 2-2 draw with Fiorentina, played on neutral turf in Parma, when Viola player Dalbert heard racist abuse from the stands.

As per the Italian protocol, a warning was read out over the stadium speaker telling the crowd that if the abuse persisted, the game would be suspended.

Dalbert ready to decide for Viola

There are increasing reports Henrique Dalbert has agreed to join Fiorentina in exchange for Cristiano Biraghi to Inter.

The two clubs struck a deal a couple of weeks ago, but it all ground to a halt because Dalbert refused to make the move to Florence.

He had his heart set on a return to his former outfit Nice, but the Ligue 1 side failed to agree terms with Inter.

Dalbert was forced to reconsider and is still taking his time over it, which is why he is on the Inter bench for tonight’s Serie A game with Lecce.

Dalbert accepts Biraghi swap?

Henrique Dalbert has reportedly accepted the Fiorentina move, allowing Cristiano Biraghi to replace him at Inter.

The two clubs have been in agreement for some time, but the exchange was held up by the Brazilian’s refusal to wear the Viola jersey.

He had been set on a return to Nice, but they failed to agree terms with Inter, so that transfer collapsed.

According to Tuttosport and Sportitalia, Dalbert appears to have changed his mind now and is ready to join Fiorentina.

Dalbert rejects Fiorentina again?

Henrique Dalbert is still inclined to reject Fiorentina in exchange for Cristiano Biraghi, after Nice failed to agree terms with Inter.

The situation is dragging on and it all ultimately comes down to what Dalbert is prepared to do.

Sky Sport Italia report the Brazilian is still stalling and will meet with Viola director Daniele Pradè tomorrow.

However, FCInterNews.it go even further, claiming Dalbert has again turned down the move to Florence, which in turn puts a big spanner in the works for Biraghi to Inter.

Biraghi-Dalbert swap back on

Inter are back in advanced talks with Fiorentina to exchange Cristiano Biraghi with Henrique Dalbert, as Nice didn’t agree terms for the Brazilian.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the swap is back on, but all depends on Dalbert accepting a move to the Viola.

It had been the original idea agreed by the two clubs, while Italy international Biraghi is eager to join Antonio Conte’s squad.

This fell apart, as confirmed by Fiorentina director Daniele Pradè this week, because Dalbert “preferred a return to Nice.”
