Conte back in for Alonso?

Inter coach Antonio Conte has reportedly targeted Chelsea full-back Marcos Alonso, as Henrique Dalbert could leave San Siro.

Conte has, according to Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, returned to the Blues defender, having tried to sign the Spanish full-back in January.

Alonso left Fiorentina and Serie A in August 2016 and joined Conte’s former club, where he has impressed during his time in London.

The report claims the two could be reunited in Milan, as Conte is looking to offload Dalbert to make room for the 29-year-old.

Dalbert returns to Inter

Fiorentina never reached an agreement with Inter over Dalbert Henrique, who therefore returns to Milan.

FirenzeViola reveals Dalbert arrived at the sports centre in Florence to pick up his personal belongings before he left the Viola today.

The 26-year-old returns after one season on loan at the Artemio Franchi, where the left-back appeared in 34 competitive games.

The Brazilian’s deal at San Siro expires in June 2023, as he signed a new five-year deal one year after having arrived from OGC Nice in August 2017

Istanbul Basaksehir target Dalbert

Inter wing-back Henrique Dalbert, who returned from his Fiorentina loan, is the subject of an offer from Istanbul Basaksehir.

According to Sportitalia and Gazzetta dello Sport transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà, the proposal is to sign him on loan with option to buy at the end of the season.

Dalbert would also see his salary increased by the champions of Turkey, rising to €1.5m per season plus bonuses.

The left-back turns 27 next month and was purchased from Nice in 2017 for €21m, but never made an impact at Inter.

Giuffredi wants new deal for Biraghi at Viola

Agent Mario Giuffredi claims midfielder Cristiano Biraghi will ‘gladly return’ to Fiorentina but not on the same terms as before.

Biraghi was expected to sign another loan deal with Inter after spending 2019-20 at San Siro, whilst Henrique Dalbert went in the opposite direction.

But his agent, Giuffredi, reveals the two clubs ‘haven’t reached an agreement’ and Biraghi could therefore end up playing at the Artemio Franchi next season.

Dalbert and Biraghi return to base

Inter and Fiorentina are reportedly not going to extend the loan deals, so Cristiano Biraghi and Henrique Dalbert will return to their clubs.

The wing-backs had been swapped on season-long loans and for weeks many assumed they would renew this arrangement for another year.

However, Sportitalia claim they discussed the situation today and are ready to terminate the deal.

This would send Biraghi back to Fiorentina and return Dalbert to Inter.

Biraghi turns 28 next week and Inter had an option to buy for €12m
