Official: Karamoh joins Parma

Parma have officially signed Inter winger Yann Karamoh on loan with obligation to buy.

A statement on Parma’s website adds Karamoh has put pen to paper on a four-year contract.

It is understood their obligation to buy, which takes effect next summer, is worth €13m.

The Nerazzurri paid €6.5m to sign Karamoh from Caen in the summer of 2017.

The 21-year-old managed just one goal in 17 Serie A appearances and spent last season on loan at Bordeaux, back in his native France.

Pezzella set for Parma

Udinese left-back Giuseppe Pezzella is set to join Parma on loan with obligation to buy.

Gazzetta dello Sport reports the deal is close to going through, with Pezzella having put in a request to make the move.

The 21-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Genoa, but he played just five Serie A games and they subsequently passed up their €7m option to buy.

He recently represented Italy at the European Under-21 Championship and knows Parma sporting director Daniele Faggiano well from their time together at Palermo.

Inter loan Brazao to Albacete

Inter should loan Brazilian goalkeeper Gabriel Brazao to Albacete in order to play regularly this season.

The 18-year-old was signed via Parma in January for €2.4m and then purchased by Inter for €6.5m, even though he never played for the Ducali.

This is a tactic often used to by-pass the limits on non-EU players in Italy, as if they go via another Serie A club first, they no longer take up that spot.

Official: Inglese completes Parma move

Roberto Inglese has officially joined Parma on loan with obligation to buy at the end of the season from Napoli.

The deal is believed to be worth €2m for the loan, plus €18m purchase in June 2020 and a further €2m in performance-related bonuses.

It is a return for the 27-year-old, who spent last season at the Stadio Tardini, scoring nine goals in 25 Serie A games.

Napoli signed Inglese from Chievo for €12m in 2017, but he never actually played for the Partenopei, staying on loan at Chievo and then going to Parma.

Gervinho wage increase stalls Galatasaray

Parma are trying to keep Gervinho with the offer of an improved salary, even if it’s still not as much as Galatasaray are proposing.

The 32-year-old Ivorian striker rediscovered his form at the Stadio Tardini and scored 11 goals with three assists in Serie A last season.

This attracted interest from several clubs, although Galatasaray seem to be the most determined.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Parma are demanding €15m to release Gervinho, but are also trying to convince him to stay with an improved wage deal.
