Simone Inzaghi is expected to sign a contract extension with Inter, but the Nerazzurri will offer the Italian tactician a two-year deal before the end of the season, changing their strategy for the first time in two years.

Inzaghi’s Inter contract runs out in June 2025 and the Nerazzurri have no doubts about extending with their coach.

However, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, they will adopt a different strategy for this year’s negotiations.

Inzaghi has already signed two contract extensions with the Nerazzurri, one in 2022 and one in 2023. Both times, however, Inter offered the Piacenza-born coach a one-year deal, while this time, they’ll offer a two-year contract extension.

There’s also a difference in timing, given that Inzaghi previously extended his agreements at the Stadio Meazza after the end of the season.

On the other hand, this time he will be offered a new contract before the end of the campaign, predictably following the mathematical victory of the Serie A title.
