Capello backs trio for Scudetto

Capello rejection helps Gasperini

FA rejected Inter's Capello move

Massimo Moratti has conceded that the English Football Association blocked Inter's bid to net Fabio Capello.

The Italian giants made a move for the England boss given that Leonardo is on the verge of leaving San Siro for a director's role at Paris SG.

"The English FA wouldn't consent to his arrival," the Nerazzurri President said outside of his offices this afternoon.

"They blocked everything as they want to keep him with them at all costs," continued the oil baron.

Branca: 'Inter didn't want Capello'

Marco Branca insists “Inter did not contact Fabio Capello,” contradicting President Massimo Moratti, while Guus Hiddink's agent opens a door.

Earlier this afternoon, President Moratti declared “the English FA wouldn't consent to Capello's arrival. They blocked everything as they want to keep him with them at all costs.”
