Elkann: 'Juve don't miss anyone'

Lapo Elkann assures Juventus “do not miss” Arturo Vidal, Andrea Pirlo or Carlos Tevez and can still win the Scudetto.

One of the heirs to the Agnelli fortune celebrated his 38th birthday and spoke to Sport Mediaset about his beloved Juve.

“Do I still believe in the Scudetto? It’s a long battle and you only win it at the end. We have a strong squad, so we can face and win this battle.

Pogba: ‘Juve play as a team now’

Paul Pogba says the departures of Carlos Tevez, Andrea Pirlo and Arturo Vidal have made Juventus ‘play as a team.’

The influential trio left Turin in the summer and the Bianconeri have got off to a slow start in the league without them, but the France international believes it has made the team more united.

"With Tevez, Vidal and Pirlo we were all more individualistic,” Pogba told Tuttosport.

“Thanks to their quality we could decide a game at any moment, but now we have to play more as a team.

Lemina: ‘I’m like Vidal’

New Juventus signing Mario Lemina admits he has ‘some things in common’ with Arturo Vidal.

Vidal left the Bianconeri this summer to join Bayern Munich, and the tough-tackling French Under-21 international, who arrived on deadline day, has been characterised as a replacement for the Chilean.

“I think we have some things in common,” Lemina told journalists when asked about the comparions in his presentation Press conference.

‘Pirlo a genius, Pogba complete’

Andrea Pirlo is ‘a genius’ and Paul Pogba ‘a complete player’ according to Dino Zoff, but he fears Arturo Vidal will be missed.

The former World Cup winner gave his assessment of the Juventus squad, as well as discussing young goalkeeper Simone Scuffet’s loan to Como from Udinese.

"Pirlo is a genius, [Carlos] Tevez has decided a lot of games, but Vidal has those characteristics that I’ve always appreciated in a midfielder,” Zoff said to Tuttosport.

‘Coman loves Juventus’

Bayern sweep Milan aside

Milan capitulated 3-0 to Arturo Vidal’s Bayern Munich in the Audi Cup and Nigel de Jong had a row with Pep Guardiola.

The Rossoneri began their Audi Cup campaign at the Allianz Arena, starting summer buys Andrea Bertolacci, Carlos Bacca and Luiz Adriano. Bayern gave ex-Juventus midfielder Vidal his first start.
