De Rossi: 'I want to coach Boca'

Former Roma captain Daniele De Rossi has revealed his dream of returning to coach his former club Boca Juniors.

The Giallorossi legend spoke to La Nacion about his 'short but intense' experience in Argentina and revealed he wants to return one day, hoping to get an opportunity be at the helm in the Xeneizes dugout.

“I have in mind the idea of returning as the coach of Boca,” he said. “I could be last on the list, but my idea is that.

Agent: 'Udinese dropped Rossi'

Udinese have abandoned their negotiations for Boca Juniors goalkeeper Agustin Rossi, confirms his agent. ‘The only proposal now is from France.’

The Friulani had seemed to do a deal for the shot-stopper, who turns 25 next month and spent this season on loan at Lanus.

“At this moment, the only proposal on the table now is from France,” agent Miguel Gonzalez told TuttoUdinese.net.

“I hope that over the next few days, it can be completed, because we are very close to an agreement.

'Perotti excited to join Boca'

Diego Perotti’s father claims the Roma winger would love to join Boca Juniors, calling it ‘my life’s dream’ to see them win the Copa Libertadores together.

Perotti was sent off less than half an hour into Roma’s 2-0 defeat to Udinese on Thursday, and Hugo was asked about the incident.

“It’s unusual to see football without fans,” he told Crack Deportivo.

“It doesn’t seem competitive to me and it doesn’t get me going, even if there have been some decent games.

Boca Juniors idea for Balotelli

Mario Balotelli’s time with Brescia is at an end and his next move could be to Argentina for Boca Juniors, according to the latest reports.

The striker turns 30 next month and should still be in the prime of his career, but yet another experience is coming to a negative end, with Brescia and Balotelli suing each other over various contract disputes.

According to several sources in South America, including the often reliable Tyc Sports, Balotelli has been offered to Boca Juniors by agent Mino Raiola.

Tevez donates salary to charity

Former Juventus star Carlos Tevez has vowed to donate the remaining six months of his Boca Juniors contract to charity.

Tevez’s deal was due to expire on June 30, but the 36-year-old is ready to stick with Boca for the time being, opting not to take a wage.

“I’ll stay with Boca, of course. I want another chance to play in the Copa Libertadores,” he told Radio la Red.

“I don’t know what will happen with the cup in light of the pandemic, but I want to play in it.

'De Rossi wanted to be Boca coach'

Ex-Roma defender Guillermo Burdisso has revealed how Daniele De Rossi wanted to become a coach for Boca Juniors after he hung up his boots.

Burdisso and De Rossi were Roma teammates during the 2010-11 campaign and faced off as rivals earlier this season, with Nicolas’ younger brother playing for Boca’s rivals Lanus.

The former Italy midfielder has since returned home and retired from football, but Guillermo reckons he had ‘more to give’ in the Argentine capital.

Udinese deal for Molina

Udinese have reached an agreement to sign right-back Nahuel Molina as a free agent from Boca Juniors, claim Sky Sport Italia.

The 22-year-old will be out of contract at the end of June and only recently returned from a loan spell with Rosario Central.

Throughout his career, the Argentine has scored two goals and provided four assists in 47 Superliga games.

Molina is expected to be the replacement for Jens Stryger-Larsen, who has received interest from Bologna.

He can play as a right-back, but also on the left when needed.

Serie A target Vazquez will 'talk to Sevilla'

'De Rossi very important for Boca'

Mauro Zarate has asserted that Daniele De Rossi played a ‘very important’ role in Boca Juniors’ title success, despite his lack of games.

Zarate spent several years in Italy, playing for the likes of Lazio, Inter and Fiorentina, and he admits the country’s struggles to contain coronavirus have hit home.
