'Haaland wants Premier League'

Serie A clubs could miss out on RB Salzburg striker Erling Braut Haaland as his father claims he would like to play in the Premier League.

Juventus and Napoli have both been linked with the Norwegian, who is top goalscorer in the Champions League after four rounds of group games.

However, Alf-Inge Haaland - who played in England between 1993 and 2003 - made it clear the 19-year-old was “built” for the Premier League.

Milan ready to sell Kessie?

Sport Mediaset is reporting Milan have placed Franck Kessie on the transfer list, with the Premier League his likeliest destination.

Kessie, who joined Milan in the summer of 2017 from Atalanta, is thought to be viewed as expendable by the Rossoneri hierarchy, for the right price.

As per Mediaset journalist Claudio Raimondi, the Diavolo are prepared to accept an offer in the region of €25m for the Ivorian.

Raimondi states that Wolverhampton Wanderers, who were interested in Kessie last summer, are still interested.

Juve need €100m for Haaland

RB Salzburg striker Erling Braut Haaland continues to be linked to Juventus, but Tuttosport claim it will take €100m and there's competition from England.

The club is fighting off rumours of a possible move to Turin for their Norwegian wonder boy and leading goal scorer in the Champions League.

“So much nonsense is written in the last few weeks. What I’ve already read makes me laugh," said sporting director Christoph Freund, according to the Daily Mirror.

Man Utd reject €15m for Smalling

Manchester United have reportedly rejected a €15m offer from Roma to make Chris Smalling’s transfer permanent.

The English defender has impressed at his new club during the loan spell and the Giallorossi are trying to tie him down on a permanent deal in the Italian capital.

But the negotiations will continue as Manchester United’s valuation wasn’t matched by Roma.

The Daily Mail reports that the Red Devils are asking for €20m to complete the deal.

Roma have reportedly lodged their first offer worth €10m to sign Chris Smalling on a permanent deal, but Manchester United want €20m.

The first meeting between representatives from both clubs are claimed to have been positive, but Roma are hoping the English side will be able to meet them half-way on the asking price.

Manchester United join Barcelona in the race for Lautaro Martinez, but the release clause in Inter contract won't be activated until June next year.
 
The Argentinian has been linked with a move to Barcelona, but Mundo Deportivo claim Man Utd are now trying to snap up the forward.
 
Martinez has been on fire for Inter so far this term and a reported €111m release clause in his current deal has alerted possible suitors.<

Marchisio: My 8 ‘in best hands’

Claudio Marchisio feels his No 8 is “in the best hands” with Aaron Ramsey at Juventus and reveals Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard were his favourites.

Marchisio wore 8 for Juve between 2009 and 2018, winning seven straight Scudetti with the number, and his shirt has since been taken in Turin by Ramsey following his arrival from Arsenal.

“[My No 8 is] in the best hands. Ramsey is a fantastic player,” the 33-year-old told The Daily Mail.

Moggi: Why Henry failed at Juve...

Luciano Moggi claims Thierry Henry failed at Juventus because he “suffered from tight marking and was sad when he had dropped to the bench.”

Moggi [pictured, left] was Juve’s general manager between 1994 and 2006, and he admits he had his eye on several Premier League stars before he left due to his role in the Calciopoli scandal.

“Both were great teams,” he told The Daily Mail, speaking of his Bianconeri side and Manchester United’s treble-winning team of 1999.
