Fiorentina won't lower asking price for Chiesa

Inter are reportedly stepping up their interest in Federico Chiesa, but Fiorentina will not budge on the €70m price tag.

The Viola starlet returns to the front pages of Italian newspapers, but the hefty price tag makes it a complicated operation for both the Nerazzurri and Juventus this summer.

The two Italian giants have been linked with the 22-year-old in recent months and Fiorentina President Rocco Commisso has repeatedly claimed he is only willing to let the youngster move for the right price.

Report: Bakayoko wants Milan move

Chelsea loanee Tiemoue Bakayoko has reportedly contacted Milan, hoping for a return to San Siro this summer.

The 25-year-old midfielder has played 20 Ligue 1 matches on loan at Monaco this term and the French club has an option to buy their former player.

But Bakayoko, according to Tuttosport, contacted the Diavolo in recent weeks to underline his wish of a return to Milanello.

The former France international played 42 games during his first spell with the Rossoneri, who could try to sign the player on loan with an option to buy in June 2021.

Collina: 'Rules clarified, not modified'

Pierluigi Collina explains the updated IFAB guidelines on handball and offside are ‘not modifications, but clarification’ and why referees must use the on-field monitor.

The sport is changing after the COVID-19 lockdown, with five substitutions allowed rather than three to combat fatigue in the heat of summer, while the IFAB has updated its guidelines on handling offences.

“It’s not exactly that the rules have been modified, but rather they are clarified,” Collina told the Corriere della Sera newspaper.

Tottenham have positive COVID-19 case

Tottenham Hotspur confirmed they have the only positive COVID-19 result from the latest round of 1,197 Premier League players and staff tested.

Unlike Serie A, the Premier League announces the test results as a division rather than leaving it to the individual clubs.

There were no positive tests in the fourth round, but in this fifth set of 1,197 tests, there was one positive result.

Tottenham immediately confirmed a member of their squad or staff had tested positive for coronavirus.
