Napoli prepare to sell Koulibaly?

Napoli are, according to the Telegraph, prepared to sell Kalidou Koulibaly to the Premier League this summer, hoping to make back the possible money spent on Lille forward Victor Osimhen.

Osimhen has been in Naples to discuss a possible transfer to the San Paolo and Napoli patron Aurelio De Laurentiis has, according to the report, already planned how to make back the €80m he could have to spend on the Nigerian forward.

Reports: Done deal for Pedro

Chelsea winger Pedro is set to join Roma after the current campaign and has reportedly agreed on a deal worth €3.5m a season until June 2022 with an option to extend for an additional year.

The former Barcelona man will conclude the current campaign with the Blues, before he starts a new chapter in the Italian capital.

Sky Sport Italia reveals the winger has agreed a move to Roma after having struggled to convince coach Frank Lampard at Chelsea this term.

Report: Immobile wants new Lazio deal

Ciro Immobile seems set to renew his contract at Lazio until June 2025, despite the lucrative offer from Newcastle United.

The Premier League side have reportedly offered the forward an unthinkable deal at the St James’ Park, but the Italy international doesn’t want to leave Rome.

Tuttosport claims the 30-year-old, who has bagged 27 goals in 26 Serie A games this term, has set his eyes on a new deal worth €4m a year with the Aquile.

Official: Werner to Chelsea

Serie A target Timo Werner has officially moved to Chelsea, who signed the RB Leipzig forward by triggering the release clause in his contract.

The 24-year-old has come to an agreement with the Blues and will move after the Bundesliga has been concluded, only subject to a medical at Stamford Bridge.

Werner, who has scored 32 goals in 43 games this term, was pleased with the move to London and told the club’s website: “I’m delighted to be signing for Chelsea, it’s a very proud moment for me to be joining this great club.

Report: Inter and Juve target Alonso

Juventus and Inter have reportedly joined the chase for Chelsea defender Marcos Alonso, who seems set to leave London after the current campaign.

The former Spain international has only appeared 11 times in the Premier League under the new Blues coach Frank Lampard this term and is being linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge.

However, he has contributed four goals and three assists in the process and the Italian giants are reportedly queueing up to bring the 29-year-old back to Serie A.

Report: Newcastle prepare huge offer for Immobile

Newcastle are, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, ready to spend €135m in total to get Lazio star Ciro Immobile.

The Saudi Public Investment Fund are reportedly preparing a monstrous offer for the Italy international, who has bagged 27 goals in 26 Serie A matches this term.

His contract at Lazio expires in June 2023 but reports in Italian media have claimed he is in for a bumper new deal at the Olimpico this summer.

Report: Bakayoko wants Milan move

Chelsea loanee Tiemoue Bakayoko has reportedly contacted Milan, hoping for a return to San Siro this summer.

The 25-year-old midfielder has played 20 Ligue 1 matches on loan at Monaco this term and the French club has an option to buy their former player.

But Bakayoko, according to Tuttosport, contacted the Diavolo in recent weeks to underline his wish of a return to Milanello.

The former France international played 42 games during his first spell with the Rossoneri, who could try to sign the player on loan with an option to buy in June 2021.

Collina: 'Rules clarified, not modified'

Pierluigi Collina explains the updated IFAB guidelines on handball and offside are ‘not modifications, but clarification’ and why referees must use the on-field monitor.

The sport is changing after the COVID-19 lockdown, with five substitutions allowed rather than three to combat fatigue in the heat of summer, while the IFAB has updated its guidelines on handling offences.

“It’s not exactly that the rules have been modified, but rather they are clarified,” Collina told the Corriere della Sera newspaper.
