Vincenzo Italiano has left several big stars at home for Fiorentina’s trip to rock bottom Salernitana, focusing on the Coppa Italia and Conference League.

The Serie A Week 33 game kicks off at the Stadio Arechi at 17.00 UK time (16.00 GMT) on Sunday.

M’Bala Nzola and Giacomo Bonaventura were already left out of Thursday’s Conference League quarter-final, which went to extra time before managing to break down 10-man Viktoria Plzen by a 2-0 scoreline.

They are again missing here, but Nico Gonzalez, Andrea Belotti and Lucas Beltran are also left at home, sparking a massive squad rotation.

It feels like an inevitable choice considering they had to play 120 minutes on Thursday, but are also going into a packed fixture list.

Fiorentina need to play the second leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final with Atalanta on Wednesday April 24, then Sassuolo in Serie A on Sunday April 28.

The first leg of the Conference League semi-final against Club Brugge is on Thursday May 2 and the return fixture brought forward to Wednesday May 8.

Fiorentina squad for Salernitana: Christensen, Martinelli, Terracciano; Biagetti, Biraghi, Dodo, Faraoni, Kayode, Martinez Quarta, Milenkovic, Parisi, Ranieri; Barak, Castrovilli, Duncan, Infantino, Lopez, Mandragora, Arthur; Ikoné, Kouame, Sottil, Caprini, Sene
