Xavi: 'Barca right to want Lautaro'

Xavi Hernandez maintains Inter striker Lautaro Martinez would be an ideal signing for his old club. “I like him, Barcelona are right to be interested.”

The Blaugrana legend spoke to DJMariio on YouTube Channel Post United and was asked about the on-going transfer links.

“I like him,” said Xavi. “He gets away from defenders well, provides passing options, can play well in open or tight spaces. Barcelona are right to be interested in signing him.”

Griezmann for Lautaro?

Inter are allegedly exploring the chance of including Antoine Griezmann in an exchange deal with Barcelona for Lautaro Martinez.

The Nerazzurri are trying to keep hold of the Argentine superstar, but a €111m release clause gives the Blaugrana a chance to negotiate with the Serie A giants.

The economical situation is not the best at any of the clubs due to the forced break and the Gazzetta dello Sport claims Inter are prepared to ask for Griezmann in return for Lautaro, as Barcelona insist on the 22-year-old forward.
