Juve and Napoli play in Portugal?

French media suggest the second legs of the Champions League Round of 16 Juventus-Lyon and Barcelona-Napoli will be played in Portugal.

The Final Eight tournament in August means that from the quarter-finals onwards, the teams will fight it out in individual one-off matches, all played on neutral turf in Lisbon.

This will help limit travel and potentially also allow some fans in, as Portugal has relatively few COVID-19 cases in comparison with other European countries.

Sarri: 'I'd like to keep Pjanic'

Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri is happy for Gonzalo Higuain, calls Douglas Costa an ‘extraordinary weapon’ and hopes Miralem Pjanic will stay ‘beyond August’.

Juve took a while to get going against Lecce on Friday night, not scoring any of their goals in the 4-0 win until the 53rd minute.

“I saw a game that was most painful in a physical sense,” Sarri said after the game.

Fabio Paratici calls Adrien Rabiot the ‘future’ of Juventus, tips Federico Bernardeschi for greatness and ‘will see what happens’ with Miralem Pjanic.

Rabiot has been heavily linked with a swift exit from Juve after an indifferent first season since his free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain.

However, Paratici told Sky Sport Italia: “Let’s not forget it is his first year in Italy, which is always tricky.

Setien: 'Barca still need Arthur'

Barcelona boss Quique Setien has insisted that he is still counting on Arthur, despite the midfielder’s imminent move to Juventus.

The Arthur-Miralem Pjanic swap deal appeared to be in its closing stages, with RAC1 reporting earlier that the Brazilian would travel to Turin this weekend.

However, the moves cannot go through until next season and Setien is expecting the 23-year-old to join the squad for their match at Celta Vigo on Saturday.

“As it stands, I still have Arthur,” he said at a press conference.

Sarri: 'Pjanic's ability not in question'

Maurizio Sarri has hinted that Miralem Pjanic is leaving Juventus for financial reasons because his technical ability ‘isn’t up for discussion’.

Pjanic is set to swap clubs with Barcelona midfielder Arthur Melo, in a move that could pocket Juve a ‘plusvalenza’ - or capital gain in English - of €57m and benefit the Catalans too.

“I don't know the situation, but we’re relying on him fully right now,” Sarri said at a press conference.
