Defender Matthijs de Ligt said he doesn’t “regret joining Juventus” after Patrick Kluivert suggested he should've gone to Barcelona.

Now, Netherlands international De Ligt hits back at comments made by Barcelona’s academy director Kluivert, who stated the defender “regrets” his move to the Bianconeri.

“I don’t regret the fact that I have moved to Juventus,” the 21-year-old told Voetbal Primeur. “They are saying and writing a lot of stuff.

'Can see Skriniar joining Real'

A representative claims “I can see Milan Skriniar going to Real Madrid” over the likes of Barcelona and Manchester City if he leaves Inter.

Reports in Spain suggested over the weekend that Barca and Madrid were ready to do battle for Skriniar.

However, Mithat Halis - who works for Star&Friend, the agency representing the defender – believes Los Blancos are “closer” to his client.

“Skriniar is worth €100m,” he told AS.

Kluivert: 'De Ligt has Juve regrets'

Patrick Kluivert has claimed that Matthijs de Ligt slightly “regrets” joining Juventus over Barcelona.

Barca were among the favourites to sign De Ligt over the summer, but the defender eventually left Ajax for Juve.

Nonetheless, Kluivert - now academy director at Camp Nou - believes his countryman would have been better off moving to Spain.

“I didn’t personally try to convince him about joining Barcelona,” the former Milan striker told Mundo Deportivo.

Agent: 'Barca and City want Sensi'

Stefano Sensi’s agent confirms “Inter did well to get him first, as Barcelona and Manchester City were already interested over the summer."

The former Sassuolo midfielder made the move on loan for €5m with option to buy for a further €20m, and Nerazzurri directors are working furiously to get the deal locked down as soon as possible.

“It’s not surprising that there is interest,” agent Beppe Riso told Calciomercato.com.

Barca in for Milenkovic?

Barcelona are reportedly looking to sign Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic and do not fear his price tag.

The sport pages in La Nazione claim the 22-year-old is wanted by the Spanish champions and that he could be sacrificed as his club considers raising funds for January.

The defender has been an ever-present for Fiorentina in Serie A this season, scoring three goals in his 12 first games, and was linked with Manchester United over the summer.

Sport: 'Rakitic wants Juventus'

Barcelona want at least €35m for Ivan Rakitic, but Catalan paper Sport claims he has his heart set on Juventus rather than Milan or the Premier League.

The midfielder is no longer part of their plans, as confirmed in an interview by director Eric Abidal with Mundo Deportivo today.

Barca-Real battle for Skriniar?

Inter defender Milan Skriniar is wanted by both Real Madrid and Barcelona, according to Spanish reports.

Barca are planning a successor to Gerard Pique, and see the 24-year old Slovak as the ideal candidate. Skriniar isn't the first Inter played to be linked with the Catalans as of late, with Lautaro Martinez also thought to be of interest.

The plan would be for Skriniar to play as a reserve to Pique, and eventually take over when the Spaniard's career was winding down, a proposal that the defender isn't enthused about.

Abidal: 'Barca tracking Lautaro'

Barcelona director Eric Abidal confirms they are tracking Inter striker Lautaro Martinez. "He is a complete player and we know of his quality."

The Argentine scored against Barcelona earlier in the season in the Champions League, and this seems to have caught the eye of the Blaugrana.

The Spanish champions are searching for a striker to replace Luis Suarez, who will be 33 years old by the end of the season, and Martinez is thought to be amongst the top names to replace him.

Godin: 'Head to head with Juve'

Diego Godin says Inter are going "head to head with Juventus" for domestic supermacy, and their future in the Champions League depends on them.

The Uruguyan spoke to Sport Mediaset about his debut Serie A season, and believes the Nerazzurri are going in the right direction.

"Juve have won titles year after year with tremendous ease. This demonstrates their superiority over Serie A. We are competing, head to head, but let's not kid ourselves, we have a long way to go. At Inter we have to play every game like it's a final."

Rakitic: 'Feel sad at Barca'

Ivan Rakitic has put Serie A clubs on red alert after confessing that he is “sad” at Barcelona.

Rakitic has fallen down Barca’s midfield pecking order this season, and the Croat made it clear he would not accept a peripheral role at Camp Nou for much longer.

“How can I have fun? By playing football,” the 31-year-old told Movistar+.

“And it’s like I often say, how does my little daughter feel when you take a toy away from her? Sad.
