Juventus will meet Bayern Munich next week to finalise their bid for versatile forward Douglas Costa, according to multiple reports.

While it’s no secret that the Bianconeri want the Brazilian and he does not seem to be part of Carlo Ancelotti’s plans, the timing of the swoop seems to be speeding up.

Tuttosport insist that Juve directors will fly in to Munich over the next few days to work out the details, adding that it shouldn’t be too difficult to reach an agreement.

The price-tag is believed to be €30m plus performance-related bonuses.

This is effectively the same transfer fee that Bayern Munich paid to sign the 26-year-old from Shakhtar Donetsk in the summer of 2015.

This season he contributed seven goals and nine assists in 34 competitive games.

Max Allegri is particularly eager to sign Douglas Costa for his versatility, as the Brazilian can play on the left, right or in a trequartista role supporting a centre-forward.
