Milan CEO Marco Fassone has confirmed that his club are interested in signing Genoa goalkeeper Mattia Perin.
Milan are understood to be in talks for Perin, who is valued at €15m by Genoa, and Fassone revealed the custodian was almost certainly one of the two “most appropriate names” targeted by sporting director Massimiliano Mirabelli.
“Perin’s a possibility, especially if he’s solved his physical problems,” he told Sky Sport Italia.
“At the moment, Mirabelli’s considering a long list of goalkeeper and he’ll need two more days to whittle it down to the two most appropriate names.”
Perin would take Milan’s No 1 jersey off Gianluigi Donnarumma, who has refused to sign a new contract with the Diavolo.
