Napoli have confirmed that winger Adam Ounas has avoided serious injury and will return to training on Friday.
Ounas was on the receiving end of a horrible lunge from Diego Godin during Napoli’s 2-1 defeat to Atletico Madrid on Tuesday, raising fears of an extended spell on the treatment table for the Algerian.
However, a statement on the Partenopei’s official states he only suffered “a first-degree strain to his right ankle”.
